Leia placed a tracker in her droid and she was able to track Obi Wan and Leia’s movements. Part V: Obi-Wan landed safely on Jabiim with Leia, but Reva was already preparing to attack the protorebel base.

Obi-Wan was merely stalling during the attack. He had to give them enough time to fix the hanger door problem and make a passage for their escape ship. Obi-Wan then took extreme measures after the initial attack and spoke with Reva through a barricaded entrance. Obi-Wan learned Reva was a youngling during Order 66.
