Don’t Hurt me, My Healer! was originally a Japanese fantasy comedy manga series that Tannen Ni Hakko wrote and illustrated. It has been digitally serialized on Niconico Seiga’s ComicWalker website and Kadokawa Shoten’s ComicWalker site since July 2019. It was also serialized in the Monthly Comic Flapper. Kadokawa announced a TV anime adaptation in April 2021. The animation studio Jumondo is producing the anime. Nobuaki Nakanishi will be the director. Fumihiko Schimo will handle series composition and scripts. Chisato Kunaga will handle character designs. Satoshi Igarashi will compose the music. Aguri Onishi’s “Jellyfish Na Kimi E” is the opening theme song of the anime. Takuya Sato and Asuna Tomari will be performing “HERO in HEARLER”, the closing theme song. The anime will air in Japan on April 10, 2022, on AT-X, Tokyo MX and Kansai TV. It will also be streamed internationally through Crunchyroll.

Arvin (Voiced By: Takuya Sao)Arvin is the protagonist of the series. Arvin, a 30-year-old knight. He is a 30-year-old knight who wears full armor and seldom shows his face. Karla, a healer, passes by him while he is fighting monsters. She mistakenly places an evil curse on him and he now has to travel with her. Other adventurers call him a veteran rookie.

Karla. (Voiced By: Aguri Onishi).The series’ heroine. She is a dark elf girl aged 72 and self-described healer. However, in her human years, she’s 14-15 years old. She is a very open-minded person who can often be heard uttering her thoughts and is sharp-tongued. She doesn’t care much for having a partner. Although she can use magic to some degree, her personality is stubborn.

Mushroom, Ortegaia (Voiced By: Asuna TomariA demon of mushroom form, who is almost 100 years old. She is self-described as a lovable mascot. She is edible. She is a fiendish monster that will try to duel humans young and old. However, she also has a caring and sensible side. After a particular incident, she begins to travel with Karla and Arvin.
