Vegeta continues to be pummeled by Gas until he is stopped by a punch to the abdomen. The Saiyan thanked him for giving him fuel through continued punishment. Gas, angry, continues his assault. He now uses his ability to teleport Vegeta around using a point in his fingers. Goku tries to intervene, but Vegeta quickly tells him to stop and that the damage will only increase Vegeta’s power. He tells Goku that his Ultra Instinct is the same as it was before, and he urges him to quickly figure it out.

Vegeta is now charging back into battle and getting in some serious blows of his own. Goku then heads to a plateau nearby where he starts to meditate. Goku falls back to his base form and a barrier is erected around him. Vegeta and Gas are tired from their fight, so Gas unleashes another deadly attack that knocks Vegeta to the ground. He declares that he will never get up again. To his surprise, Vegeta gets up and runs to Gas. He immediately raises his guard to defend himself while closing his eyes. He opens them to discover that Vegeta is back in his base form and has fallen unconscious from the heat of burning himself.

Gas summons up a sword to kill Vegeta. However, when he draws down his sword it smashes on the barrier that surrounds the Saiyan. Gas creates a shield and moves Vegeta over to Gas’s side. Gas is greeted by a carefree Goku who begins to power up. Gas wonders what he’s up to, and will he be using Blue Hair? Silver hair? Perhaps something new (he hasn’t had Indigo or Maroon yet). Goku, however, claims that neither is the case and that he’s just figuring out the best way to draw out his power.

Artist Toyotarou illustrated Dragon Ball Super. He was also responsible for the official Resurrection F manga adaptation. Serialization began in V Jump’s August 2015 issue. It was published on June 20, 2015.

Toyotarou said that Toriyama gives him the main plot points, and then he draws the storyboard and fills in the details. To review the storyboard, he sends it to Toriyama, who then edits the original draft, makes changes to the dialogue, and sends it back to Toyotarou.
