Who does Dark Schneider love in Bastard?
Dark Schneider claims that he loves Yoko in Bastard. However, he does confess to loving Arshes Ni, his adopted daughter and lover for more than a century.
Dark Schneider’s wife, Yoko. Since he was 14 years old, Lucien Renlen sealed him in his body. He has had feelings for Yoko ever since. They are only two sides of one soul so Lucien will fall in love with Dark Schneider.

Both cast the powerful spell of Dark Schneider Exodus on the other, but the former flinches at the last minute as he takes great care of her and gets severely hurt.
Arshes shares her ideals. When she was a child, she was shunned both by dark elves and humans. She wants to make the world a better place and help everyone feel at home. She is determined to bring back Anthrasax.
Dark Schneider tries to remind her about the past. She grabbed his robe, and he took her in as his daughter. They share strong emotions.
She almost gives in, but her nail begins to turn purple and she feels tremendous pain. Kall-su and Abigal are watching the battle, and Kallsu begins to prepare for fighting if Arshes loses.
The curse of the Arshes
She wants to be with Dark Schneider once again, but the curse won’t allow it.
Dark Schneider feels a sense of hesitation in Arshes, but cannot find the cause.
She notices that Dark Schneider is acting differently when she attacks Tia or Shiela.
Arshes says she wants to end the dark wizard but Tia cannot feel any desire to kill. They prepare to end this fight with one strike using Dark Schneider’s powerful spell Halloween.
Dark Schneider’s final sacrifice
Although they are evenly matched, Dark Schneider starts to dominate Arshes. Tia feels sadness from Arshes and is distraught. Lucien appears in front of the dark wizard, and tells him that he needs to understand his adopted child.
He doesn’t seem to notice her pain. She wants him to die, not kill her. Dark Schneider notices that she is being cursed and realizes it’s all Abigail’s fault.
To make the Helloween spell vanish, he transports it. Arshes approaches him and asks if the spell has hurt her. He then declares that he will free her.
He acts of self-sacrifice with his own hand and takes out his heartbeat to give Arshes the cursed.
Dark Schneider knew this and was able to beat his heart.
This meant that Shiela was not prophesied by her grandmother because Arshen Negi had defeated Dark Schneider and ripped his heart out, but because of his love for her.
