I’m Quitting Heroing Episode12 Review- A Hero’s Tale
It is clear that things are not looking very good after the shocking revelations received in the episodes. Leo seems to be accepting his fate. This is why he chose to take on the Anti-Leo spell beam that was directed at him by the Demon queen rather than avoiding it. The previous episode of I’m Quitting Heroing ended abruptly with him saying “Thank You”.
Yuusha Yamemasu Episode12 begins by showing Queen Echidna and all the Demon Generals looking tired. After being single-handedly hammered by Leo, they should be. Leo, our ex-hero, is still alive but in a vulnerable situation and is weak. He gives up hope of living happily and asks for help from everyone. Leo closes his eyes and waits for the inevitable.
It is quite sentimental to hear the background music accompanying Leo’s bickering and pleas in Episode 12. Because the dialogues are consistent with the characters’ personalities, the writers have cleverly written them. This scene, with Leo in the snow and surrounded by his friends, seemed the ideal place to say goodbye. Leo, who had over 3,000 years worth of heroism under his belts, continued to be a Hero until his last moments.

Even though there are bigger problems, like achieving Demon World’s goals, establishing peace among humanity and the underworld or the closing of the giant passageway, everyone still manages their daily, more pressing tasks. Another way to view this episode is to see how Leo has learned to accept his place in the world and to realize that he doesn’t need to be a rescuer for everyone. Leo’s support system seemed natural and not rushed. The animations were bright and calm throughout the episode. Both the opening and ending theme songs were well-received. Although the ending may not have been as satisfying as we expected, it was a satisfying and satisfactory one.
Prognosis
I’m Quitting Heroes Episode 12 is an excellent ending to this series. This episode is well balanced with calm, bright scenes, and smooth dialogues. It’s a worthwhile watch.
