Brianna’s message and review of the ending of “Life is Strange” left many players wondering what happened. In her message, Brianna claims that she saw the future and that the ending was changed because of it. She also says that she knows who changed the ending and that they will regret it. Many players are still trying to figure out what happened in Brianna’s vision, and whether or not her prediction came true. However, there are some things that are clear. First, it seems likely that someone in the game changed the ending in order to make it more pleasing to viewers. Second, Brianna seems to know more than she is letting on about this person or event. If her predictions come true, then whoever made those changes may soon regret it. ..

The parents have been concerned with Brianna’s development because at two years old, she is still crawling instead of walking, but their doctors claim there’s nothing physically wrong with the girl and she’ll develop in time. As time goes on, we see Brianna get out of her crib at night, creeping around her house and seemingly getting snatched by unseen forces who take her away when her parents aren’t looking, only to return her later.

Things get even more gruesome when one of the family’s two dogs is eaten alive, and the death is blamed on the second dog. Later, an unseen force tries to smother Kathy with a pillow, and that’s when the parents realize Brianna is possessed by a demon — and not only that, but the home seems to have a portal to some kind of hellish underworld in it.

Leonard is pulled into the portal, where he sees the face of a young woman named Crystal whom he recognizes from his childhood as a girl his grandparents cared for when he lived with them as a child, but who mysteriously disappeared. In a flashback, we learn that Leonard’s grandfather, Bernard, was raping Crystal, so when his grandmother found out, she killed her out of jealousy and Bernard buried the body.

It’s pretty effing sick! Crystal’s spirit, angry as hell, came back and killed the grandmother, and Bernard, who now has dementia, has lived with the secret for two decades. In the present day, Bernard is arrested, and his belongings are given to Leonard by a police officer who tells Leonard that when they dug up Crystal’s remains, they learned she was pregnant. Among Bernard’s belongings is a photo of Crystal, and when Brianna sees it she say’s “Mama.”

A Message From Brianna Review

So, I found this movie when i heard about the name DeShon Hardy. Actually no idea who he is, what he have done or whatever exception that his from the black community in the US. Not in my opinion you don’t find many black horror directors, specially now from 2020- so yeah i guess i give this movie a try and review it will full honestey. Hopefully DeShon Hardy will read this so he step up his game.

The story, setup and build you have seen a thousands time before, but the characters are pretty ok but it puts a lot of focus wasting time with the parents in various scenes. Honestly i feel that this could have been used to build up the daughter, perhaps give us some hints from time to time before “stuff start happening” that there might be someone else there, more then just “oh noes backdoor open”. That is not scary, it’s not scary at all with random arms dragging the little girl away in the kitchen light.

The introduction of the Priest could have been done already from the start at the party, or whatever. This is what the director is missing out to put out the bits for us the viewer to see before you use them in the story.

It’s this kind of small “gaps” in the storyline which makes the complete story seems just empty.

I like the husband as a characters. He gives his family everything and a bit more, fights for it to the end. His wife in the otherhand just whine and give very little support, even start talking like she is the one getting targeted, totally selfish and not relatable at all. And that i think is the real horror of this movie – this guys relationship with his wife. I feel for him, it’s not easy to be the blaming goat all the time – even though its not your fault at all.

Otherwise, some scenes are good filmed, but due to the lack of good story it fits tougher bad.

Don’t get me totally wrong, you can do find some good stuff in this movie – but the general of a movie this is not good at all.

DeShon Hardy should actually start watching more horror movies, specially movies that ain’t older then 2000 if he want to create a good horror movie and not just copying whatever movies that has been the past 10 yeras. Moviewise this movie comes together then a lot of other b-movies, here the editing, acting and lightning ain’t bad at all, just scenegraphy and story that is really bad. Hard to put together a movie with a story like tiktok videos.

I am having a hard time that this is a movie that goes home into the “black community” which it promotes itself to. The black community i believe have way better taste of movie then this, the Black Community did give us William Crain.

A Message From Brianna Plot

As time passes, we observe Brianna crawling throughout her house at night, climbing off of her cradle, and apparently being snatched up by unseen powers that take her out when her folks aren’t looking, only to return her later. Things get even worse after one of the family’s two dogs is devoured alive, and the second dog is blamed for his death. Later, when an unseen entity tries to assault Kathy with a pillow, the parents discover Brianna is seized by a demon — and that the house also appears to have a portal to some kind of horrible realm.

Leonard is lured through the portal, where he discovers the face of Crystal, a young woman he remembers from his childhood as a girl, Leonard was looked after by his grandparents whenever he lived with them as a child, but the girl strangely vanished. We hear in a flashback that his grandfather (Bernard) molested Crystal and that when his grandmother discovered it, she murdered her out of jealousy, and Bernard hid the body. It’s pretty fucked up!

Bernard, who now has Alzheimer’s, had lived with the mystery for two decades after Crystal’s ghost returned, enraged as hell, and killed the grandma. Today, Bernard is imprisoned, and a police officer hands over his stuff to Leonard, explaining that when they discovered Crystal’s body, they found out that she was pregnant. When Brianna finds a picture of Crystal among Bernard’s belongings, she says, “Mama.”

A Message From Brianna Ending Explained

So Kathy has a dream where she sees Crystal having sex with Leonard and then acting as Brianna’s mother figure, so she literally tells Leonard that they need to give Brianna away because she can’t live with a demon baby who isn’t even hers to begin with. I guess that’s fair. We see the parents bringing Brianna to a church, ready to leave her there forever, and they leave.

Six months later… Well, THEY DID IT. They literally abandoned their child at a church and went home. We see them washing dishes after dinner like they did not leave their daughter alone on the steps of the church and planning a sex romp for later that night, and as Kathy readies herself for a shower, she takes a pregnancy test that comes out positive. “I can’t believe I’m pregnant again,” she says happily, and then what do you know, she turns around and Brianna is standing in her bathroom. Kathy’s then attacked by the spirit of Crystal, and when Leonard comes to the bedroom he realizes that Kathy has been possessed by Crystal.

The next day, the pastor comes by to check in on Leonard, and Leonard says to him, “Pastor Hunt, I appreciate you looking after Bri until Kath –” and the pastor interrupts to say “I had a feeling she’d come back around.” Okay so everyone was in on some plot to have the spirit of Crystal possess Kathy, I guess. Then, Bernard, the senile Alzheimer’s patient who was arrested for rape and concealing Crystal’s body, jauntily walks past the house, looks up at Kathy-possessed-by-Crystal and waves to his grandson Leonard, and we hear him say, “I see we have the same taste.”

There you have it. I’ve laid out how this movie ends, but contrary to the title of the post, I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to fully explain it.
