Code Geass is a series that I have been following for the past few years. I absolutely love it! The story is amazing, the characters are well-drawn, and the action is always exciting. One of my favorite things about this series is that it can be watched in order. This allows me to enjoy each episode as it comes out, without having to worry about getting lost in the story or feeling like I’m missing out on anything. If you’re looking for a series that will keep you entertained from start to finish, Code Geass is definitely worth watching!

Although the Code Geass story may seem repetitive, the colorful characters make it refreshing and twisted. Many bombshells keep the viewers interested.

The dynamic animation is combined with a well-suited music to bring the characters to life making it memorable.

Code Geass has a lot in common with Death Notice. Code Geass is similar to Death Note so make sure you add it to your watch list.

Each 2 season of Code Geass has 25 episodes. There are many movies and OVAs, as well as a spin-off series. This might cause confusion about what to watch after watching the seasons. You can binge on the following list.

There is no information about a release, despite season 3 being highly anticipated by fans.

1. Code Geass : Lelouch of the Rebellion

This is the first season. Code Geass is the beginning of Lelouch’s adventure. It is also one of the most important points in the series. To understand the rest of the series, you must start here. You will waste a great anime otherwise. I wish I had the death note so that I could write your name.

Code Geass Lelouch Of The Rebellion began airing in October 2006 and ended in July 2007. There are 25 episodes total and each episode is 24 minutes long. It can be viewed on Netflix and Crunchyroll.

2. Code Geass – Lelouch of the Rebellion R2

It’s not clear why R2 is called that, but it might sound cooler. Code Geass – Lelouch Of The Rebellion R2 continues the story of Code Geass : Lelouch Of the Rebellion Season 1.

There is not much to R2, except that you can’t complete the series if it isn’t finished. It debuted in the 2008 Spring anime season. It aired from April to September 2008, and was completed in September 2008. It has 25 episodes and each episode runs for 24 minutes, just like the original season. This season introduces new characters, so be on the lookout. I encourage you to complete the second half if you haven’t finished it yet. This will allow you to see why Code Geass enthusiasts are so passionate even after 14 years.

[Note] Code Geass Lelouch Of The Rebellion & Code Geass Lelouch Of the Rebellion R2 is the only important point on this watchlist. These are the end of the main story. You can end the story if you are satisfied with its outcome. But if you’re not, I have plenty to offer. It’s going to be a rollercoaster ride so make sure you have plenty of popcorn.

3. Code Geass – Lelouch Of The Rebellion Special Edition (Black Rebellion)

Code Geass : Lelouch Of The Rebellion Special Edition Black Rebellion is a film that recaps all of the events from the first season. It was released in 2008, and lasts 1 hour and 5 minutes.

There’s a twist, ladies and gentlemen! The movie will be told from Lelouch’s perspective. This movie is worth a look if you’re looking for a different perspective. You can skip to code Geass: Hangyaku No Lelouch, Kisekio Birthday, Nunally In Wonderland, Akito The Exiled or simply watch the recap movies in the list.

4. Code Geass – Lelouch Of The Rebellion R2 special edition – Zero Requiem

Like Code Geass – Lelouch Of The Rebellion Special Edition (OVA), Zero Requiem a movie that recaps all the events of the second season. It was released one year after the end of the second season and has a similar running time to Black Rebellion.

5. Code Geass – Hangyaku No Lelouch, Kiseki No Birthday

Code Geass – Hangyako no Lelouch is an OVA that was created while Lelouch was still attending Ashford Academy. It has one episode and runs for approximately 27 minutes. It was first released in 2010.

This plot involves terrorists who support the Neo-Chinese Federation taking over Ashford Academy as they prepare for their December school festival. The terrorists take hostages students and place the school under attack Lelouch and Suzaku. Students and student council members fight for their survival. You saw the potential of Suzaku, Lelouch in the original storyline. These guys are like ants…with guns…and Chinese.

6. Code Geass – Hangyaku No Lelouch Nunnally In Wonderland

Code Geass – Hangyaku no Lelouch. Nunnally in Wonderland has a very strange OVA. Lelouch began the story telling his sister Nunnally a story. He uses his Geass powers to make Nunnally blind. Nunnally then follows Anya Alstreim, a rabbit who looks very much like the Knight of Six. She falls into a hole and finds familiar but strange characters, while also finding a way to return home.

It’s Alice in Wonderland. Code Geass style. They might have mecha there. We never know what happens to these stories. The episode is only one and it lasts 28 minutes. It’s funny to note that Lelouch narrates it all. This series was first released in 2012, and it has a unique atmosphere because of its bizarre turn.

7. Code Geass: Akito the Exile

Code Geass – Akito The Exiled is an offshoot of the Code Geass series. Here, the perspective is transferred to the E.U. It helps you to understand the events in Code Geass Season 1 and R2.

The story begins in 2017, when Akito Hiuga also known “Hannibal’s Ghost, is the only survivor from a special unit of the E.U. called Wyvern, W0 and whose members are all Japanese. The commanding officer, while rescuing the European Regiment from destruction, attempts to kill as many Britannians possible. This leads to Akito being the last one standing.

Akito The Exiledis a fascinating OVA. It challenges your view on another theater of war in which the Japanese are involved. There are only five movies in the series: Code Geass : Akito Exiled: The Wyvern Arrives (51 mins, released in 2012), Code Geass : Akito – Akito – A Wyvern Divided (5mins, 2013), Code Geass : Akito – The Brightness Falls (59 mins, 2015), Code Geass : Akito – Memories of Hatred – 59 minutes (2015), and Code Geass : Akito -To Beloved Ones (59min, 2016)

This isn’t another silly spin-off, but a serious series of movies that helps to portray the horrors and consequences of war not only at the location Lelouch was there but also in other parts of the Code Geass world.

8. Code Geass – Lelouch Of Rebellion I – Initiation

Not to be confused the original series, Codgeass: Lelouch Of the Rebellion I-Initiationis a recap movie that takes place in an alternate universe to the original series. Parts of the series have been changed. There were parts that were changed, some of which were removed and others that were slightly modified. It was released in 2017 and lasts for 2 hours and 15 mins. C ode Geass Lelouch Of The Resurrection is the first set to be viewed. Code Geass Lelouch Of the Rebellion R2 doesn’t follow.

You’re probably confused. You thought there were only two seasons and one movie. Both of us were wrong. True anime fans will recognize that there will be OVAs and Specials where Nunnally travels to Wonderland.

9. Code Geass – Lelouch of the Rebellion II – Transgression

I’m sure you are curious about transgression, so I explained it to you. You’re welcome. Transgression is an offense. Perhaps there was an offense committed here? Dora may have shot Lelouch. If that had happened, then the movie would have been very famous.

Code Geass – Lelouch Of The Rebellion II – Transgression is the continuation of Initiation. It adds more twists to the story. It is set between seasons 1 and R2. It aired on 2018 and lasted 2 hours 12 minutes. This is where the “boom” and the “blam” part occur.

10. Code Geass – Lelouch of the Rebellion III – Glorification

Code Geass – Lelouch Of The Rebellion III – Glorification This is the last recap movie in the trilogy. It begins in R2. These events are not the same as what happens in code: Geass of the Rebellion R2. There are some similarities between the movies, but there is still a lot of information missing from the films. It was released in 2018 with a run time of 2 hours 20 minutes.

It reads Glorification. Maybe Lelouch has succeeded in taking control of the world. Perhaps there is a new emperor. Maybe Umaru_chan took over Lelouch’s Geass.

This film is not only funny, but it’s also important so you can move on and understand what happened in the previous film.

11. Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection

Code Geass – Lelouch Of The Resurrection is exactly what the title suggests. Resurrection. Guess who will be resurrected. Who died in the original series or the alternate universe films, then? It’s going to be him.

Nunnally, Suzaku being kidnapped and Suzaku taken by the Kingdom of Kazakhstan, Lelouch is brought back to life with C.C. They attempt to defeat this new enemy, who is not yet conquered even by the Holy Britannian Imperial. John Cena, the man, myth, and legend. I’m referring to Lelouch VI Britannia who returns to life to restore world peace and save his sister.

This film was the first of three films I had not seen before it. I regret having watched it. I pretended that I knew everything, and I ended up being confused. You will love this movie if you watch the other 3. Even though I was confused, I still cried. But it’s not a secret as to why.

Final Notes

Code Geass has an incredible show with many spin-offs. When it has been through war, and suffered so much loss of human life, it dives into the psychology of humans. , Lelouch’s phrase, “To defeat evil, we must become a greater evil,” perfectly demonstrates how these types of situations can change one’s character. There are many themes underpinning the story, such as the case with Suzaku, whose ideals were drastically altered throughout the series. This series revealed everything that is real in life. All aspects of real life are represented: mass loss of life, discrimination and love for Family. His greatest sacrifice was his life.

Picture Dramas go deeper than just the ones we have listed. It’s a mixture of animation and pictures, and it lasts approximately 9 minutes. I will list all the Picture Dramas in this order if you are interested.
