It’s changed now, however. After I’ve found the top mods that enhance the appearance of Rayya and apply mechanical adjustments to increase her performance at home (and when fighting).
GLAM Rayya
I’m not a fan of many makeup techniques but this one does very well.
It offers Rayya a more feminine look featuring a fresh face with a high-poly face and a new hairstyle.

Overall, it’s an outstanding Rayya beauty alteration. The modifications aren’t so severe to be classified as “not lore-friendly”, yet it makes her look appealing.

2. Rayya Revisionized

So this is one of the most superior Rayya’s mods.
Rayya Revised changes major elements to Rayya mechanically, and also enhancements in her appearance.
Makeover-wise the armor of Rayya can be changed and swapped out depending on the priority of inventory. Her hairstyle can be adjusted to in a more feminine style. In addition, she has some refined tattoos on her face as well.
Additionally, mechanically her combat abilities improve with the addition of perks to her arsenal, such as an altered class of combat behavior and a function where she isn’t able to affect the opponent when she is in stealth.
In essence, it’s an upgrade that covers all the things it requires to provide the best Rayya experience.
3. Gorgeous Housecarl Followers
This is an overhaul mod for all housecarls that are available in the game. It also includes an amazing improvement for Rayya.
While the creator didn’t alter her character her appearance and talents will be a reflection of who she is.
Her new look is heavily influenced by her past as an Redguard warrior who was still strongly tied to her roots despite being far away from her roots.
The new style has warmth and exotic appeal. This is definitely visible!
Additionally, she gains an enhanced capabilities, which makes her an absolute weapon when it comes to combat.
4. Shield Sisters Re-Imagined

It’s extremely excellent.
While the makeover of Rayya this time isn’t my favourite, I am impressed by the time and effort invested in the model.
From the altered style of hair and the texture on skin as well as the subtle details in face tattoos and rendering the Rayya is a model with a lot of love put into the model. Like the other model models from this mod.
This high-poly game is a lore-friendly game. This is what earns a firm “yes” from me.
Never has such brutality been so attracted!
5. Female Follower Adjustments
This design is simple and straight to the essence.
Just just Apachii hair modifications (which is fantastic in and of itself) The changes for Rayya here are flawless.
With her background as an explorer who settled in Skyrim her appearance is exuberant, but still being rooted within Nordic soil.
And there are so many tiny things that make up her appearance:
Hair loosely tied back with a youthful appearance, and a few remnants of heavily faded warpaint.
The other remakes in this mod are enjoyable and appropriate too. However, Rayya is definitely one of the best.
6. Rayya with hair
This is a mod custom-made that adds only one feature to Rayya’s appearance:
Hair.
Her plain model, after her scarf is taken off it shows she’s hairless – and has no hairstyle that she can use.
This mod makes it change to the good It’s also using the standard hairstyles.
Two options are available for hairstyles you can choose from: an undercut Mohawk or a shorter Nordic female hairstyle.
Both styles work well for her. But I’d rather go with the hawk due to her background.
Whatever you choose it’s nice to know that she’s not forced to go about with no fashion on her hair.
Bald isn’t for everyone.
7. Bijin Warmaidens
For my lore-friendly characters, this mod isn’t suggested. It’s an option for all players!
The meshes that are made over in this mod for standard-res textures are already attractive – however, there’s a high-res textures option as well.
In terms of Rayya herself, the transformation is amazing even if you don’t consider the fact that she has natural long, blonde locks (and the more light-colored color in her eye).
A fan-friendly Redguard remake? It’s a complete flop.
A general makeup? It’s a great choice for her, with chic hairstyles, pinned-up with style as well as custom warpaint and an attractive appearance.
Overall, it’s a great look however, changing her eyes and hair back to darker shades isn’t going to detract from this style.
8. Rayya Housecarl Makeover
This is a full makeover mod that will require additional mods to work (also only this mod). ApachiiSkyHair Mod).
However, it changes Rayya’s look extensively, and comes with two hairstyles that are unique.
It also gives the option to take off her hood and change her idles to make them more feminine.
As compared to the other characters in the list It’s true that this isn’t a huge difference in Rayya as a persona.
Her best qualities are her distinct cultural identity from other Nord housecarls, as well as her fighting skills it can feel like pandering.
However If you want to make her more attractive to the widest general group of players, visit town.
