Fans of the hit show “The Irregulars” are eagerly awaiting the release of Season 2. However, with no official release date announced, some are beginning to worry. According to reports, the cast and crew are hard at work on the new season, but they have yet to settle on a specific release date. This has led some fans to speculate that Season 2 may not come out at all. This is a worrying prospect for fans of the show, as Season 1 was highly acclaimed and received widespread critical acclaim. Is there a second season of The Irregulars in the works?

Deadline reported in May 2021 that the supernatural drama would not be available for further episodes on the streaming platform, despite Tom Bidwell’s enthusiasm for it.

Bidwell stated that season two and three are possible if given the chance. RadioTimes.com.

“We made a great family on that show and I would love the opportunity to work again with them. I also think that Tom’s world is so rich and diverse that there’s much to discover.

It seems like The Irregulars will be a one-and done show. This is especially surprising considering that the show did well on Netflix’s top 10.

Creator Tom Bidwell had many ideas for The Irregulars’ second season. He noted that some stories from season one were kept back, but it seems they may not see the light.

He said RadioTimes.com that he had ideas at the start of season 1. The thing about this show is that it has a lot story potential in many different areas with Leopold and Sherlock and Watson, as well as their love stories.

He said, “There’s also an extensive list of monsters that we have that we’ve had ideas for for many years. It’s an exciting series to create, it’s, it was a privilege to do it.

Bidwell stated, “If we have the opportunity to make future seasons it’s the royals and the higher echelons, then you’ve got lots to play there.”

Darci Shaw, the actress who plays Jessie, said that “I think with this series there’s so many unanswered queries, as well as so many possible outcomes.”

“I couldn’t even predict where Tom might go next series. It’s that type of show where anything can happen and it’s very unpredictable.” The possibilities are endless.

Thaddea Graham asked, “I mean, what happens inside of the Rip? I don’t know. Do we go in there or stay here?” “What’s next for Sherlock?” There’s so much more to discover.
