The Chelsea Detective Season 2 premiere date is set for Wednesday, October 12th at 8pm on NBC. The show stars Melissa Leo and Don Cheadle and follows Detectives John and Karen as they investigate the murder of a powerful politician.

Henry and Scarborough are joined by Anamaria Marina ( Sex traffic) to play DI Arnold’s wife Astrid. Lucy Phelps is DC Jess Lombard’s tech expert, while Peter Bankole ( Peaky Blinders), plays the role of rookie officer DC Connor Pollock. Sophie Stone ( Shetland), serves as Chief Forensics Officer Ashley Wilton. Frances Barber ( Whitstable pearl) is DI Arnold’s mother.
The Chelsea Detective was developed and executive produced by Peter Fincham . (I’m Alan Partridge). Episodes have been written so far by Glen Laker ( Vera and Prime Suspect),Fincham and Liz Lake ( Riviera and Call the Midwife).
Ella Kelly ( Midsomer Murders), is the series producer. Richard Signy ( death in Paradise , Silent Witness ), and Darcia Martin( Call the Midwife) are the directors.
We haven’t seen any news about guest stars or returning actors for season 2, but will update as soon as we learn more.
WHEN WILL SEASON 2 OF THE CHELSEA DETECTIVE PREMIERE?

Season 2 of The Chelsea Detective will begin filming in autumn 2022. We expect season 2 to premiere sometime in spring 2023, considering the filming date and that season 1 aired in March.

It won’t surprise anyone who is familiar with London’s neighborhoods that The Chelsea Detective was set in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea. It’s about as posh as it gets, with many homes occupied by royals, millionaire/billionaire business types, and oligarchs.
You can search for “Chelsea” on Zoopla if you are interested in local real estate. One-bed flats and studios are available for as little as 300k to 500k GBP (roughly $400 to 600k), while semi-detached luxury homes can cost up to 20-30 million GBP.

This area is home of Hyde Park and Kensington Palace, as well as the Saatchi Gallery (natural history museum), the Royal Albert Hall, Hyde Park, and the Royal Albert Hall.
