The Rising of the Shield Hero is back with a new season and new episodes. The first three episodes have been released and I have had the chance to watch them. This season follows the story of a young man named Eren who is trying to save his friends and family from being eaten by monsters. Episode one starts off with Eren waking up in a cell with other prisoners. He soon learns that he is part of a military experiment called the “Shield Project” and that he has the power to transform into a giant Titan. The Titan form gives him incredible strength and abilities, but it also makes him an enemy of the government. Episode two continues where episode one left off, with Eren escaping from his prison and trying to find his way home. Along the way, he meets other members of the Shield Project who are also trying to escape. They are joined by Armin, a young soldier who is also trying to find his way home. Episode three picks up right where episode two left off, with Eren and company fighting their way through government forces in order to reach safety. They are eventually successful in reaching safety, but not before they have faced many challenges along the way. Episode four will be released on March 25th, 2019 and will be focused on Armin’s character development arc. It will be interesting to see how this arc unfolds given that Armin has been one of my favorite characters so far in this season. I am looking forward to seeing how everything plays out in this final episode of Season 2! ..

The Rising Of The Shield Hero Season 2 Episode 1 Review: Shield’s Back

If you loved Season 1 of the show, you’ll be happy as Shield Hero Season 2 is a continuation of everything Season 1 did, and nothing more. Our favorite characters return, doing what they do best. The characters we did not like are equally vile and uninteresting and have no plans of changing in the near future. As viewers, you were aware precisely what you were about to see when you turned this episode on your TV and it didn’t disappoint you in one way or another.

This season will focus about Rishia along with her relationship to Itsuki who is who is the Bow Hero. Rishia has a well-defined and straight route in front of her and is growing stronger thanks to Naofumi and eventually being Itsuki in some way. The Raphtalia as well as Filo were also present and were concerned about her wellbeing and equally enthusiastic and caring about everything that they have been. It was wonderful to have them back on the screens We’ll also have more time to discuss the relationship they have with Naofumi and their growth as characters, should we get any of them in this season.

Naofumi has been a written character right from the beginning and is a key factor in the show’s popularity and popularity. His triumphs and struggles are deeply etched in people’s hearts. When we were reintroduced to the character in this episode it was similar to meeting an old acquaintance for the first time. While this may be more evident as the show progresses but there’s not much to do for our old friend to engage in on the show.

The episode featured the four cardinal characters confronted with a brand new challenge which is different from their present goal of battling the waves. Naturally, it’s possible to guess what the reaction of each character were as well, and naturally, Haime was left to complete the task on his own. This was a major issue in the series since the beginning. Nobody outside of Hajime’s team is one bit skilled in any way. With the revenge plot is all but done, the situation is likely be more complicated than ever before.

The production of Shield Hero Season 2 Episode 1 was excellent There’s nothing else to add to it. The animation was very efficient and the characters looked the same as they have always. The music is different, but it sounds as current and familiar. It was an experience from the past that is to say, each of us was transported back to the year 2019 and was re-watching it for the first time. Although that’s great and exactly what we were expecting from the show, it also implies that the show hasn’t changed in any way that was initially flawed. The only way to know is how the show has changed better, however it hasn’t gotten any better.

Verdict

The Rising Of The Shield Hero Season 2 Episode 1 was entertaining and showcased all the things we have loved from the series thus far. But how long can the show continue with the same model? I’m guessing that the next episode will reveal more.

The Rising Of The Shield Hero Season 2 Episode 2 Review – Best In Show

Remember how the newest Season of TenSura began with a plethora of lengthy boring meetings? In the beginning of about half of the episode, Shield Herotakes the same approach, placing Naofumi along with Queen Mirellia, in a room with Generals who are crotchety, arguing about who should be in charge or lead the troops against the raging Spirit Tortoise. It’s all…a little dry?

It’s more fun in the sun when Filo along with Rishia have joined Elrasla the well-known tough old broad as well as Eclair who’s character and dignity I admire , even as I am trying identify who is the voice of her (I’m certain ANN will be able to list it in the near future). They’re in the children’s table at the ready as the brass tries to figure about things.

This brass is later followed by that same voice recorded by Hanazawa Kana, who asked Naofumi to end her life last week, before disappearing. We learn that her namesake is Ost Hourai. Despite the fact that everybody knows her for being the concubine to the deceased King of the tortoise Kingdom it is revealed that she’s actually one Tortoise’s human-like relatives.

Her purpose was to lure herself to reach the top levels of political power in the world and utilize that power to force people to launch wars. The Spirit Tortoise is, as you can observe, utilizes human souls for stopping the Waves. But someone has unlocked the Tortoise, and the resulting rampage not a result of the will of anyone else.

Ost will be there to assist in every way she can, however, surprisingly, none of her advice is anything that the room isn’t already aware of. I like how quirky and funny she is. It really brings some fun to otherwise dull scene of meeting (as do that Kevin Penkin score, as always). Additionally, I love Raphtalia meeting Naofumi on a bridge lit by moonlight the night before, and saying that if other generals adhere to a strategy, they’ll just have to devise one.

Naofumi believes that he’s got an advantage, so he will use the unique characteristics of diverse kingdoms of the allied kingdoms to achieve it. Manpower, siege machines mage, and explosives, there’s an abundance of resources that he can use to stop in his tracks, pin it down and then kill and behead Spirit Tortoise. Everyone is involved, including Rishia and Ost taking over Tortoise research within the library.

In the evening, as Naofumi’s more extensive party gathers around a fire, Ecliar mentions that she brought several new weapons and equipment that came from Elhart in Melromarc with her, such as a brand-new sword for Raph and a brand fresh gauntlet designed for Filo…and the stat-boosting Filo outfit for Rishia. It’s very cute.

It’s when she’s wearing the bird costume that Ost realizes that Rishia loving her Bow Hero, and encourages Rishia to “get intimate as soon as possible” and to not think about things. It’s hard to imagine the feelings Rishia has for that prick with the stuck-up look But, hey, you don’t get to choose who you would like to be!

Although it was a little more intense than the previous week due to Ost’s wackiness (and Eclair’s incredible uprightness) However, this was an entertaining episode with explanations and details leading to the visit to the Tortoise beheading fireworks factory…and consequently graded according to.

The Rising Of The Shield Hero Season 2 Episode 3 Review

The time for conversation has come to an end. This episode is entirely activity. The Spirit Tortoise – that is, the somewhat uninteresting CGI Spirit Tortoise must be stopped. And with an international alliance behind him, Naofumi is never going to have a better opportunity to achieve this. I must respect the show’s dedication to just one thing and that is only covering the war from beginning to (apparent) end.

It said…deary for me… Shield Hero deserves praise for its determination. However, its execution is a mixed bag. A lot of times, animation is dispensable with the intention of panning stills, or in the case of massive army and tortoise, that aforementioned poor CGI. There’s a lot of disbelief looking at this assortment of battle imagery.

If the animation isn’t able to pay all the checks that the composer writes, Kevin Penkin sells the hell out of the money we receive. I cannot stress enough the importance of how the soundtrack can contribute to a feeling of weight and admiration. This, along with seeing Naofumi not only acknowledged as a hero by the troops marching around is quite an experience. Naofumi has come a long way in the last few years, you know.

As things get stressful because of the Spirit Tortoise throwing a shower of deadly purple thorns which take out the enemy forces but they are capable of stopping its advance by eliminating the legs of one. The mage’s corp then penetrates the turtle’s neck with its skin and allow Raphtalia as well as Filo to get inside and unleash a devastating strike that decimates the creature as was the primary goal of the attack.

Through the entire combat, Ost selflessly (and awesomely) provides her with a range of powers that help both in defense and offense. However, she’s also an eagle in an underground coal mine. Everyone thought she would disappear once they killed by the Spirit Tortoise, since she’s familiar to the whole. However, even after the head is removed, Ost lingers on. While I’m pleased she’s not dead, the reality that she’s not means that the tortoise isn’t. So the threat remains.
