The Devil is Part Timer Season 2 Episode 2 Review and Ending, Explained

Maou and the others enter Alas Ramus’ apartment to begin to talk about the best way forward. Emi resists accepting Ramus as her daughter. However, Ramus holds on to Emi and calls her mama. Emi decides to hug her close, despite her internal resistance. Maou and other people come up with solutions to her problems. Chiho is eager to help as much as she can.

Chiho visits Maou’s apartment the next day while he is at MgRonalds. Ashiya is there and tells her how he and others tried to calm Ramus when she began crying. Ramus is still asleep so Chiho gives Ashiya diapers, tissues and other child-care products. Suzuno visits the apartment shortly afterward. But Ramus wakes up suddenly and starts to cry before they can all sit down and talk about anything.

She asks for Satan, who is busy at MgRonalds. Chiho attempts to comfort Ramus by telling her that Maou will soon be home. Ashiya and Chiho and Suzuno then introduce themselves to Ramus and make her feel at ease. Emi still has doubts about how she will co-parent Ramus with her arch-enemy. It is something she thinks about while at work and she even mentioned it to one her colleagues.

Later that day Chiho, Suzuno, and Ramus take Ramus outside in the hope that it will help her feel better. They finally meet MgRonald, and Ramus is relieved to see him. She had been crying for him since she woke up. Maou isn’t happy to see her, as he worries about the reaction of his colleague. Mayumi is shocked to hear Ramus calling Maou papa. She asks her colleague for explanations.

After learning the entire story, she claims that Chiho’s involvement in raising children would be a bad idea. People will likely spread rumors about her, as she is young. This is understandable. He praises them for being patient with her concerns.

Later, when Maou is alone with Chiho, he asks for his help. He claims that Emi has been his enemy for a while, and co-parenting with Emi is going to be difficult. He asks Chiho to help him, as she is the only person he can trust. Chiho is delighted and offers all the support he needs. Maou and Emi take Ramus out for a day with Emi the next day, while their friends follow them.

Season 2 Episode 2 of The Devil is Part-Timer: Alas Ramus’s Origins

A dangerous demon went rogue three decades ago and decimated the entire Satan’s tribe. Satan was almost certain to die in all the bloodshed and chaos caused by the demon. Emilia’s mother Lailah saved him from certain death. She saved Satan and took care of him while he was in recovery. They became close friends during this time, and Lailah shared much of her wisdom with him.

Before they parted ways, she gave him a purple crescent-shaped Crystal. Satan retained the lessons from the past and became the Demon Lord over the next centuries. Lailah’s wisdom was a benefit to him and he successfully united the entire demon race.

He had also planted the purple crystal with a crescent-shaped shape in his garden within the castle, not realizing that it was a Yesod fragment. Later, it grew into a tree. Satan didn’t really understand or care about its true nature. He could not have predicted that one day from that crystal, Alas Ramus would be born and claim to his daughter. Alas Ramus actually comes from a piece of Yesod, but there are still mysteries about his origins.
