Date A Live Season 5 Release Date

Fujimi Shobo, a publisher, announced in November 2011 that an anime based on the Date a Live series novels was in development via its Fantasia Bunko label. Under the direction of Keitaro Yamanaga, the AIC PLUS + studio produced the television series. Satoshi Shino handled character development based upon Tsunako’s original, while Go Sakabe was responsible for the soundtrack with Yasunori Ebina, sound director.

The anime is made up of 12 episodes. It was originally published online on Niconico’s video streaming site on March 31, 2013. A regular TV broadcast began on Tokyo MX on April 6, 2013. The web broadcast ended June 16 and the televised version on June 22. As an annex of the limited edition of the ninth original series, a thirteenth episode was made available on Blu-ray. It was originally released on December 9, 2013.

Sweet Arms was composed by Iori Namizu and Misuzu Togashi and Kaori Sadohara. The opening theme song was called “Date A Live”. Four ending themes were used in the first season: Ririko, Kayoko Tsumita’s voice actress, and her childhood friend Risako Murai performed the OVA. Other characters in the galge universe are featured in Fall in Love: My Little Leaf.

The closing themes of the remaining episodes are performed by Iori Nomizu. They are called respectively “SAVE MY HEARTS” (episodes 3, 7, 9 and 11), “Strawberry Rain”, (episode 5) and “Save The World”(remaining). Funimation Entertainment purchased the rights to anime for streaming in North America and distribution through Madman Entertainment in Australia.

At the end of the broadcast of episode one, Date a Live II was announced that there would be a second season. This episode was produced by Production IMS, and broadcast date was confirmed as April 2014. The broadcast aired on 11 April 2014 on Tokyo MX, as well as other networks. Encore’s third limited edition Blu-ray volume included a second OAV episode. It was released on December 9, 2014. The Sweet Arms star in the opening theme, “Trust in You”, while Kaori Sadohara’s ending theme is “Day to Story”.

The author of the work announced the third season of the anime through a tweet. It was produced by the J.C. Staff and aired from January 11 through March 29, 2019. Sweet Arms’ opening theme was “I swear always”, while Eri Yamazaki’s ending theme was “Last Promise”.

Official website revealed that Date A Live IV would be the fourth season of anime. The second day of Kadokawa Light Novel Expo 2020, held March 7, 2020, saw the announcement that the Geek Toys studio would produce Season 4 under Jun Nakagawa’s direction.

Fumihiko Schimo edited the screenplay. Naoto Nakamura designed the characters, while Go Sakabe composed the soundtrack. It was originally scheduled for October 2021 but was delayed to April 8 2022 due to “various reasons.”

What does all this mean for a fifth season? Date A Life is very well-loved, and there is plenty of material that could be adapted into an anime series. Date a Live looks bright considering all this.

As we’ve already stated, the original novel series is very popular. We are also certain that the creators of the concept want it continued. This is combined with the fact the fourth season was only recently completed and it is still being produced, makes us optimistic. In any event, we would expect a second season in 2024. However, we need to confirm the future of the series by 2022 or 2023.

Trailer for Season 5

You are familiar with all facts and opinions about Date a Live Season 5. This means you have probably concluded that there is no trailer available for the fifth season Date a Live. We don’t know if there will be a fifth season, so a trailer may not appear. However, it doesn’t seem likely based on the information available.

Date Alive is very likely to be a candidate for a return, as we’ve already stated. There is still more material available for adaptation in the light novel series, and anime is very popular. We have to wait to see if there are any plans for a continuation, before we can make any predictions. Date Alive is on track for its fourth season. We’ll have to wait to see what happens to make any predictions.

A trailer for Date a Livenother World would be unlikely, considering everything we have said. A trailer for Date A Livenother World would be available as soon as 2024. However, we would need to confirm that the second season will be released sometime in 2023.

Date A live Season 5 plot

We don’t know what parts of the light-novel series will be adapt in Season 5 of Live. We don’t know what the fifth season will look like, or if it will happen at all. In fact, we don’t even know how much of this series will be changed in the fourth season. We know that the fifth season will continue the adventures of the show’s main characters. This is a brief overview of the show’s story.

Threety years ago, large areas of Eurasia were destroyed by a massive spacequake that killed 150 million people. These spacequakes have continued to be seen worldwide, though on a smaller scale and causing destruction of cities. Shido Itsuka, a student, attempts to save his sister who is, according to GPS, in an area that needs to be evacuated during a spacequake evacuation. He meets a strange girl in the crater.

His little sister Kotori teaches him that Kotori is a “nature spirit”, or Seirei, and that space tremors can be a side effect of their arrival in our world. Each of the Seirei possess their own powers and weapons, called “angels”, which are named after archangels associated to the Sephiroth or when the Seirei “invert in anger, after demon counterparts associated the Qliphoth).

Kotori is also the commander of the advanced airship Fraxinus belonging to the Ratatoskr organisation, which intends to try to make the Seirei peacefully harmless. Shido has an undetermined ability to seal the powers of a Seirei if he kisses them. He must ensure that the Seirei fall for him.

The Japanese Ground Self-Defense Forces’ Anti-Spirit Team is the enemy. They are trying to eradicate the Seirei with force. Deus Ex Machina Industry (DEM) is the weapon manufacturer. Phantom is the mysterious entity that is suspected to be responsible.

Date A Live Season 5 Cast

We are still not able to discuss a possible fifth season of Dating Alive. This is because we don’t know if there will be one. We know the series will have a fixed cast so we don’t anticipate any changes to the structure of season 5. The main characters from season one are likely to return for season 5.

Date A Live manga/light novel series compared to the fourth season of anime

Date A Live Season 5’s story will be inspired by the light novel series by Koushi Tachibana (author) and Tsunako (illustrator). The series ended with Volume 22, March 19, 2020, to mark the end of light novels.

The manga adaptation of Date A Live was started in 2012. It died before it was finished. Kakashi Oniyazu, manga artist, only published six chapters before the manga series was cancelled due to health problems of the mangaka.

No sign has been given that another manga artist is taking over the story. The manga adaptation only covers a portion of Tohka’s first date. Needless to state, this means that the manga story is much behind the anime main story. There are also manga spin-offs such as Date A Origami or Date A Party.

For anime fans who want to continue the story, the biggest problem is that no publisher has licensed an English translation of Date A Live’s light novel series.

Since Kadokawa, the book publisher, has served them DMCA notices many years ago, English-only readers are unable to even access fan-made translation projects.

In 2015, the last fan project was stopped with Volume 13 only partially translated. Although the download page for the main project has been removed, other sites still have all 13 books. Novel Updates does not have any links that aren’t dead.

The first season adapts the first four novels. The second season adapts Volumes 5 to 7. After that, J.C. Staff takes the throttle and adapts five books (Volumes 8 to 12) for the third season. This is because the third season was essentially racing through Volume 12: Itsuka Disaster.

The story arcs of Natsumi (and Origami) were adapted in the first eleven episodes. Then, for Episode 12, J.C. Staff made a bizarre decision to summarise the entire “sealed spirit power within Shido running rampant” disaster story arc in one episode. This made it feel like an additional OVA episode and not a proper end to a complete season.

Even though Mana Takamiya appeared in Volumes 8-12, even characters such as her were removed from the anime’s story. Importantly, Artemisia Bellashcroft was not introduced and appears in Volumes 12-17 replacing Mana as DEM’s Adeptus 2.

Artemisia is an important character in the story of another major character, whose introduction was omitted in Volume 12. However, this new character was relevant to the storyline of Date A Live Season 4.

Although light novelists are used to anime adaptations condensing stories, this was the first time that Date A Live reduced an entire book to just one episode. It almost feels like the third season was forced to end with a 12-episode format.

Date A Live Season 4 brought the adaptation pace back to a more manageable level, adapting only four books. This meant that Spirits Nia Hoshimiya and Mukuro Honjou were given the time they needed to tell their stories.

Even though Date A Live Season 4 Episode 1, went back to Volume 12’s disaster story arc, it also adapted several scenes that had been missed by Season 3.

It is predicted that the end of the fourth season’s finale Date A Live Season 4 Episode 12 will correspond to light novel Date A Live Volume 16 Kurumi Refrain.

This is the perfect ending point, since Volume 16 ends with a huge cliffhanger which sets up the next anime series. The volumes 16-19 are interconnected and end with a big climax. Date A Live Season 5 should adapt three books, as it would be insane to squeeze the last six books into just 12 or 13 episodes.

Do you think that Date A Live Season 6 will adapt Volume 20 and 22’s final ending? Without spoilers, Volume 20 established the conditions for the ending of the whole story. You might adapt the last three volumes as a Date A Live movie.

For light novel readers who want to jump ahead of the anime, you can go straight to Date A Live Volume 17 Kurumi Ragnarok.

Spoilers for Date Alive V anime TV (plot summary/synopsis)

The fifth season of Date Alive Season 5 will see a full-scale war between the two. DEM. This war starts with the realization that Shido is bound to die.

Truth is, Kurumi, even though she was called the Worst spirit, had put herself in a time loop to save Shido’s life. Kurumi took on the fate of the whole world to prevent it from happening again. Now Shido has revealed the truth to all the Spirits.

Westcott mobilises all DEM forces to destroy Shido, and break Kurumi’s resolve. As a response, All Spirits are urged to unite in Shido’s defense at all cost.

The past memories of the deceased will be revealed and new truths will emerge. We know that many of the Spirits are human-derived, but how about the origin of the First Spirit. Will Shido win Kurumi’s love and save the future by changing the future, or will he fail?

Where can I watch Date A Live Season 5

As expected, Date a Live season 5 is not available to stream. There is also no date a live season 5. Funimation has licensed the first two seasons for streaming. However, after Sony’s acquisition, Crunchyroll took over the series. If the fifth season is ever made available for streaming, it is safe to assume Crunchyroll will stream it.

Is there a Season 6 Date A live ?

As of now, Date A live‘s future is unknown. We don’t know much about the fifth season at this time, so it’s not clear if we will see a sixth. Although the series has been successful, there is still plenty of material to adapt. However, we will have to wait to see how season five unfolds before we can learn more about a possible season six.
