When I was younger, I loved dressing up in my mom’s clothes. She had a ton of old dresses that she never wore anymore, so I would put them on and pretend to be someone else. It was so much fun! Now that I am an adult, I still love dressing up in my mom’s clothes. But now, I also love dressing up as my favorite characters from movies and TV shows. There are so many different personalities to choose from, and it’s always fun to see how different outfits make me look. Here are the five most popular dress up characters that I love to play around with:
- The Little Mermaid: This character is always happy and full of life. She loves swimming in the ocean and exploring new places. Her outfit is bright and colorful, perfect for summer days spent swimming or playing in the sand.
- Belle: This character is strong but also kind-hearted. She loves reading books by the light of the sun setting over the forest outside her castle. Her outfit is elegant but not too flashy, perfect for a day spent enjoying nature without feeling too uncomfortable in cold weather conditions.
- Cinderella: This character is always working hard to make things right for herself and her family. She dreams of one day being able to live happily ever after with her prince charming. Her outfit reflects this dreaminess; it is simple but beautiful, with delicate lace overlayings and sparkling jewels adorning her dress or shoes.
- Snow White: This character is innocent but also brave enough to stand up for herself against anyone who tries to hurt her or her loved ones. Her outfit reflects this; it is simple but elegant, with a modest amount of makeup applied to give her a natural appearance rather than an artificial one like many other princesses wear nowadays (although she can definitely rock some pretty amazing makeup looks!).5) ..
We will give you basic information about each character as well as their biographical information. There will be two sections of the characters: those who have appeared in both anime and manga (first section), and those who have only appeared in manga so far (second section). So List Dress Up Darling Characters Below.

Wakana Gojo
Wakana is short-haired, and 185 cm tall. She always wears a Samue, which are general work clothes. The samue was originally worn by Buddhist monks to perform physical labor. Chapter 42 calls Wakana Mr.Monk Cosplayer.
He is an introvert and lonely at the beginning of the story. But, being with Kitagawa teaches him that there are many wonderful and exciting things in the world. He is always open to trying new things. Because his greatest passion is making things, he can easily get lost in the details. He is passionate about making Hina dolls. He is easily nervous, especially when Kitagawa teases.
Wakana Gojou, a high school student aged 15, was traumatized by his passions in the past. He has learned from his past and is now a social recluse.
Marin Kitagawa, a classmate, was unable to speak with her. Gojou met Marin while she was sewing at school, when his home sewing machine broke down. She realizes that he can help her with her passion for cosplay and asks him to make her costumes. He agrees. Gojou, who has never sewn Hina dolls, is initially nervous about his ability and skill to make high-quality cosplay costumes.
His confidence in creating costumes increases after the success of his first costume. This also leads to his growing love for them. As the series progresses, Gojou opens up to Marin more. Her words of confidence could be what drives him to continue improving and why cosplays are so successful.
Marin, he thinks is beautiful (which he doesn’t mean to). He admires her positive outlook and admiration for her confidence. Marin wearing revealing clothes is a problem for him. He helps her with her illness, cooks for her, and teaches her how to succeed in school. This shows that he cares about her beyond cosplay.
While his feelings for her remain platonic throughout the series, Chapter 62 suggests that Gojou realizes that Marin is the same person he saw for the Hina dolls.

Kaoru Gojo
Kaoru Gojo, Wakana’s grandfather, teaches Wakana how to make Hina dolls. Although he seems like a fun and caring character, we haven’t seen much of him in anime. He is only a secondary character.
Nowa Sugaya
Nowa Sugaya, a minor character in the anime, appears as a friend to Marin. Suguya is present every time Marin appears. They have a close and playful relationship. Suguya will call Marin and Wakana gojou in the Karaoke chapter if they’re going out together. Marin responds nonchalantly that it was summer.
My Dress-Up Darling: Manga Characters
Sajuna Inui
Sajuna Inui, a minor character in this series, first appeared in volume 2. She saw Gojou’s first costume online and decided to hire him as her next cosplay outfit. She is known online as Juju-san, a cosplayer.
Sajuna (or Juju) has a sweet, loli-like look, with smooth pale skin and white hair. Sajuna can be a little stubborn when dealing with Marin or Gojou. Because it allows her to fulfill her dream of becoming a “magical” girl, she is passionate about cosplay. She loves to care for her little sister, and blushes whenever Shinju compliments her. Sunja can be a bit bitchy.
Juju is a cosplayer. She dresses up mostly as Magical Girls and elementary students from anime. Gojou saw her naked and it led to an awkward encounter even though they were friends. He designs clothes for her second time.
She admires Gojou for his work on her cosplay outfit and the support he provided her sister when she was making her first outfit. Although Inui has not been in the manga since volume 4, it is clear that she has feelings for Gojou.
Shinju Inui
Shinju Inui is Inui Sajuna’s younger sister. Although she appears to be older, she is actually the younger sister of Inui Sjuna. She is tall and has a very “imposing” chest.
Apart from her shyness and big personality, she is also the photographer for Inui Sajuna AKA the incredible cosplayer “juju”. She wants to cosplay too, but she is not like the other cosplayers who are trying to be the right character.
Miori
Miori is likewise a minor character; she is Wakana’s cousin who supports him in his bizarre behavior and relationships.
LIST OF MY DRESS-UP DARLING CHARACTERS’ HEIGHTS AND AGES
ANALYSIS MY DRESS UP DARLING CARACTERS’ HEIGHTS
Sono Bisque Doll Wa Kui Wo Suru Fandom Wiki revealed most of the My Dress Up Darling characters’ heights. Wakana Gojou is the tallest character, standing at 6 feet and 1 inches.
Inui Shinju is next, at 5 feet 10 inches. The other character with a official height is Kitagawa Marina. She is 5 feet 5 inches tall.
The heights of the three other characters were estimated by comparing them with Marin and Wakana. These two main characters were frequently pictured with the other three characters, who were of unknown heights.
Inui Sajuna is about 4 feet tall. In the manga, she is often seen with Wakana. She can only reach Wakana’s abdomen when she is standing next to him. Chapter 29 of the manga shows this height difference.
Next, Saguya Nowa is Kitagawa Marin’s best friend. Marin seems to have 5 feet more than Nowa when they are standing next to one another. Marin is just above Marin’s eye. We estimated Nowa’s height to be 4 feet.
Kaoru Gojo, Wakana’s grandfather, is also mentioned. The anime’s episode 6 clearly shows Wakana’s advantage in height over Kaoru. Kaoru is one head shorter than Wakana, so we estimate that his height stands at 5 feet 7 inches.
ANALYSIS My Dress Up Darling CHARACTERS AGES
Four characters were also revealed by the Sono Bisque Doll Wa Koi wo Suru Fandom Wiki. Wakana and Kitagawa are first-year high school students; therefore, their ages are similar at 15 years.
Next is Inui Sajuna, the oldest high schooler. She is 17 years of age, as both the manga and anime reveal.
We estimated Sajuna’s younger sister to be 14 years. In the manga’s 20th Chapter, it is revealed that Inui Shinju is a middle-schooler. According to the Gogo Nihon website, Japanese middle-schoolers range in age from 12-15 years.
We also calculated Kaoru’s age using his comments in the manga’s opening chapter. Wakana was told by him that he had been doll brushing for 48 year. Wakana may have been aware that his grandfather was a doll maker from his 20’s.
