Tomodachi is a popular Japanese game for mobile devices. Players take on the role of various characters in order to complete tasks and earn rewards. Some of the characters players can control through touch screen controls, while others are available as part of a free-for-all multiplayer mode. Here are a list of the best Tomodachi characters and why they’re so popular:

1. Tomodachi Life: This character is the lifeblood of the game. Players can control him through touch screen controls or join in on multiplayer games with other players. He’s always up for a challenge, and his interactions with other players make for some great social moments.

3. Kizumonogatari: This character is one of my personal favorites because he’s so unique and different from any other character in Tomodachi. He has his own set of skills that you need to learn in order to use him effectively, which makes him an interesting challenge to play against online or in multiplayer games.

Jiro Nakae directed the Tomodachi Game (Gekijo-ban), and Sagami Yoshitsugu wrote the script. Kuniyuki Mohashi composed the music and it was released on June 3, 2017. The second Tomodachi live game, Gekijo-ban Life, was also made by the same people and was released on September 2, 2017.

10. Juuzou Kadokura

Juuzou Kadokura (門倉 十蔵, Kadokura Jūzō) is a High School 3rd Year student from Group K.

He serves as the “captain” of the group. He took the role of the “Hider” in the second game of the regular games, Friendship Hide-And-Seek.

According to Kei Shinomiya, Juuzou is usually the type to do as he says.

In groups, there always exists a supporting pillar that relieves small discords. He is that “pillar”. The group itself is moving with everything centered around their captain. The reason why they were able to clear the games up until now is because the important decisions were all made by him.

9. Kei Shinomiya

Kei Shinomiya (紫宮 京, Shinomiya Kei) is a High School 1st Year student from Group K.

He was originally from the regular games, participating as the “Seeker” in the second game, Friendship Hide-And-Seek. He and Banri was also in charge of finding a place for Juuzou to hide. He later makes his debut in the first Adult Tomodachi Games, “Prison Game of Friendship”, as “Prisoner Number 001“.

He sometimes calls his childhood friend and neighbour, Banri Niwa, “Big Brother”.

His social status and upbringing are all average.

However, he is a “genius” that could do anything he tried. He has one weakness, in that he is always bored, because he can do anything. He joined the games just to kill time.

Kei is noted by Yuuichi and himself to never do meaningless things, meaning every action he takes has a meaning. He gets very upset whenever somebody calls him short, something that he may be insecure about. At first, Kei comes off as the innocent underling to his team’s ‘captain’, but in reality he is the one pulling the strings. He is very smart, and very arrogant.

Often times he overreacts to things in a fake manner, pretending to be very upset or very happy. He is an expert at lying and manipulating, and a very good actor. Though, even if he acts cheeky he’s very kind – Something that is seen as his biggest strength but also another of his weakness.

8. Manabu

Manabu (マナブくん, Manabu-kun) is a mysterious mascot who serves as a guide for the “Tomodachi Game”. He leads Yuuichi Katagiri and his friends into a game to pay off their debts.

Tsukino (月野, Tsukino) is part of “Tomodachi Game”‘s management. She serves as an observer for Yuuichi Katagiri and the C team.

6. Maria Mizuse

Maria Mizuse (水瀬 マリア, Mizuse Maria) is part of “Tomodachi Game”‘s management. She serves as an observer for Yuuichi Katagiri and the C team.

5. Makoto Shibe

Makoto Shibe (四部 誠, Makoto Shibe) is president of Yuuichi Katagiri’s class.

His father is a city councilor, and he has never had money problems. He is handsome and athletic, but he is also good-natured and sometimes hurts people without realizing it.

Shibe is described as a frivolous rich guy, but is very honest and straightforward. He is also noted to be a virgin.

Saori Miyabe described him to be a bit mischievous, but was a pure and kind person the first time she met him. He was very close to his mother to the point of being said to have a mom complex. However, his “true nature” showed after his parents divorced. He presumably “chose money over love”.

4. Yutori Kokorogi

Yutori Kokorogi (心木 ゆとり, Kokonorogi Yutori) is a quiet, shy, but kind-hearted classmate of Yuuichi‘s, she was bullied in the first grade and became friends with Yuuichi and his classmates after Shiho helped her out. She loves anime and manga, and draws manga as a hobby. She is currently a participant of the Adult Tomadachi Games and is part of Yuuichi’s team.

Yutori has a quiet personality, seeming very kind on the surface. She is very innocent and even a bit air headed. This personality is what Yuuichi and the rest of the friend group is familiar with. This side of Yutori is very dedicated to her friends and has a small crush on Yuuichi. This Yutori is also very gullible and easily manipulated.

3.Shiho Sawaragi

Shiho Sawaragi (沢良宜 志法, Sawaragi Shiho) is the vice-president of Yuuichi’s class and the de facto organizer of the class. With a father who is a police officer, she has a strong sense of justice and hates crookedness. She is very athletic and also a strong and reliable fighter.

Shiho is an honour student with a strong sense of justice. She shows many times how far she’d go to protect her friends and people around her. She also has a crush on Yuuichi.

2. Tenji Mikasa

Tenji Mikasa (美笠天智, Mikasa Tenji) is Yuuichi’s classmate, a genius at the top of his class. Although he appears to be brusque at first glance, he has excellent communication skills and is well-liked by his teachers. He always maintains a calm perspective and acts as a mediator between the five students.

Tenji is a very spirited guy, and a top student. He does what he believes is best, going as far as lying to his friends for the sake of truth. He’s known for being good at communicating with people, and is very sociable despite seeming stern.

1. Yuuichi Katagiri

Yuuichi Katagiri is a sophomore in high school. He is a poor student who lives alone and works part-time to make a living. He values his friends more than anything else, following his mother’s advice that “friends are more important than money”. An incident leads him to get involved in an unreasonable game of paying off debts.

At the beginning of the story, Yuuichi appears to be a diligent and happy student, who works hard to be able to join his friends on the school field trip. He values his friends heavily throughout the story. He shows kindness and a willingness to self-sacrifice for the sake of his friends, even going so far as to brand himself the traitor in order to prevent further discord. 

As the story progresses and the games become more and more serious, however, Yuuichi begins to show a much more sinister side. This dark nature is likely the result of his troubled upbringing by an adopted mother who had to sell her body and a con man/swindler who served as a father figure and teacher.

Which is more important: friendship or money? Yuichi is certain that his friends are more important than money, but he also knows the challenges of not having enough money. To share the experience with his friends, he works hard to pay for the field trip. Yuichi and his friends get kidnapped. They wake up in a darkened room and are forced to take part in an unusual competition.

One of the members of the group has apparently entered into a dangerous game to repay a debt. Yuichi must confront his friends amid lies, deceptions, betrayals, and other bizarre tests. This fight will test the bonds of friendship between young people.

Yutori Kokorogi

Yutori Kookorogi, 17 years old is like his friends.

Yutori Kokorogi, the quietest girl in her class, is shy but has a great heart. After Shiho helped her, Yuuichi and other classmates made friends. She was bullied as a child and later became friends with them. She is a fan of manga and anime, and enjoys drawing manga. She currently participates in the Tomadachi Adult Games, and is part Yuuichi’s team.

Tenji Mikasa

Age: 17 Years old.

Yuuichi’s classmate is Tenji Mikasa, who is a genius at his class. He is a gruff character at first glance but he is a great communicator and is loved by his teachers. He is a mediator between his five students and maintains a calm attitude.
