Pen15 Season 3 Release Date: When is it airing?
On 18 September 2020, Hulu premiered the second season of Pen15. It consists of seven episodes, each lasting 27-29 minutes. Only half of the episodes were aired in season 2. You will be able to see the rest in early 2021.
Episode 8, titled “Jacuzzi”, will be animated and will feature Maya, Anna and their family trip down to Florida with the father. Hulu summarizes that Anna and Maya discover new crippling insecurities while on vacation with Curtis. They try to ignore them but a mysterious turn makes their self-doubt difficult to forget.
Hulu’s PEN15 will be ending after just two seasons. According to Hulu, Pen 15 Season 2 – which aired its last episode on December 3, – will be the final season of the show.
Konkle and Erskine worked on PEN15 for almost a decade. Insiders said that they were open to taking a break. They welcomed their first child together recently. Erskine’s son Leon Frederick was born in May, while Konkle’s daughter Essie Wunderle Anfanger was born in the early 2021s.
This doesn’t mean Maya’s and Anna’s adventure is over. According to other sources Hulu would be interested in continuing PEN15 if Erskine or Konkle decide to return to the story. For the moment, however, it is best to forget middle school’s adolescent misery and to return to adulthood’s normal discomfort.

Pen15 will soon release an animated episode that is based on the same scenario. What has changed is that Pen15’s animated special Jacuzzi may have been its best yet.
Surprisingly Jacuzzi is better than any other spa. This holiday episode features Maya Erskine, Anna Konkle and Anna’s new single father. They meet some men, drink some alcohol, and have some fun. It is not really significant, but it looks significant depending on the lens through which it’s viewed.
Pen15 was 20 years ago. The animation instantly reminds me MTV’s 90s series Liquid Television.
Jacuzzi’s animated nature helps hide the main concept of the show, which is that adult women play with children. Konkle and Erskine don’t need to pretend younger by wearing makeup and clothes. There’s no creepy moment when Konkle starts talking to 13-year old boys. Maya and Erskine look exactly the same as everyone else animated. This episode may be the right place to start if the age gap between the actor and the role has been frustrating.
