After reaching the Imihama Watch Station, the vice captain informs her of Bisco’s whereabouts and that Milo’s hospital was destroyed by Bisco. She sets out to locate Bisco and engages him in combat. Pawoo is attempting to understand that Rust is eaten by mushrooms, and not spread it. Bisco attempts to do so. Pawoo is more reckless when he mentions Milo. He has covered her weapon in mushrooms, making it useless. He defeats her. Bisco takes Pawoo and Milo. Milo gives Milo some mushroom medicine. Milo and Bisco then head out to search for Rust Easter mushrooms in order to save Pawoo.

Pawoo decides to pursue Bisco, Milo. She finally reaches Shimotsuka where she discovers a flat tire. She hears a man asking for help. She runs to rescue a couple who are being attacked by a spider-like creature. The couple invite her to their home and offer to fix her tires. She is told by the couple about the destruction of the town due to mass rusting. A Mushroom Keeper visited the area and conducted an experiment pretending that he was healing them. After fixing her tire, she looks around and sees a tunnel.

She hears the couple trying to poison her and kill she. She is set up with a trap to blow her tires, and she prays for travelers before confronting them. She escapes them and follows them through the tunnel. They tell her they can’t defeat her and that they knew it would be so. They tell her they will be safe in their shelter. They blow up the exits and then trap themselves in their shelter.

Pawoo finally meets Bisco and Milo. Milo approaches Pawoo and asks for Milo’s help as she confronts Bisco. She isn’t convinced that Milo followed Bisco alone, but that Bisco had manipulated him. Pawoo is captured by the Pipe Snake. Milo manages to save her, but he is now seriously in danger. Milo is saved by Pawoo and Bisco. The Rust Eater can be found on the snake. It has no special effects.

Milo accidentally discovers that Bisco’s blood activates mushroom effects. Pawoo believes the Mushroom Keepers rumors to be false and that they are scientific saviours. He is curious about the story behind the couple. Kurokawa attacks the couple, seizes the snake and shoots Bisco with Rust Bullet.

Pawoo agrees to give Jabi her medicine but not hers. Kurokawa informs him that if Kurokawa can see Jabi healed, he will want to know the Rust Eater secrets. Before she leaves, she gives Bisco her medicine. Bisco blushes when he says she likes her face. Pawoo finally makes it to the Imihama Watch at Shimabuki Base. She spots one man and his eyes are red. He attacks her, but she can identify him. Kurokawa comes next and reveals that he has Jabi.

Kurokawa holds Pawoo captive and tortures it in an effort to discover the Rust Eater’s secret. He sends a message to Milo, Bisco. Pawoo refuses cooperation. Later, Milo and Bisco arrive at Shimabuki Base. Jabi escaped and saved Pawoo. He is still irritable. When Kurokawa’s special forces arrive with trucks from government trucks, she runs. She saves Jabi.

They fight more gorillas. A short circuit charges the Ganesha Cannon. Pawoo throws a gorilla to stop it fighting. Jabi and Pawoo are shocked to hear of Kurokawa’s passing and enter Pawoo’s search for Bisco. Milo then returns to inform them that Bisco had died.

Milo is able revive the Tetsujin, and decides to pursue it. Actagawa, Pawoo and Jabi remain to unbury Actagawa, who was covered with Rust from Tetsujin. They later join Milo to save traders. Milo and Jabi battle the Tetsujin, but they are knocked off the cliff by a huge attack by the Tetsujin.

Tirol joins Pawoo, who claims she is Milo’s friend. Tirol claims that she found a Tetsujin manual and Pawoo has read it. It is unclear to her. She and Tiro then set out towards the Tetsujin after returning to Shimobuki. Along the way, they also met Jabi. Pawoo jumps from an Escargot fight, and attacks the Tetsujin when he reaches it. Pawoo is attacked by the Escargot fighters, but they ultimately defeat him. Actagawa stops him killing the group, and Milo follows after him after the Tetsujin. Pawoo follows him.

As they catch up to the Tetsujin, they see Bisco being revived. The Tetsujin begins to bulge up as they fight it. Tirol informs them that the Tetsujin will explode if it is attacked, and that they must kill Tirol. Pawoo finds that the pilot is hiding behind an iron helmet. She explains that she can smash it with her pole without causing shockwaves. Bisco looks at her, and she says that she doesn’t really have any wants. However, it isn’t fun to go to her funeral without thanking her.

Bisco tells Pawoo, feeling awkward that if she comes back alive, he will do whatever she wants. Pawoo kisses him, and she promises to take him. Pawoo uses Actagawa on the Tetsujin to reach his head and cuts it in half. Kurokawa, Bisco and others are then able to defeat him. Pawoo is now fully healed and elected governor of Imihama after the Tetsujin defeat. He condemns the persecution of Mushroom Keepers and declares his independence from Japan. Bisco’s poster for wanted was also removed. Later, Pawoo wed Bisco.

Pawoo’s surname Nekoyanagi means “cat” (Mao), ( Neko_), and “willow [Liu] ( Neko).
