Fans are eager to find out what secrets will be revealed in season 2 and how John and his team will overcome their challenges. ..

In the season finale, the trio succeeds in locking Talagbusao into an alternate dimension using the Dragon’s Gate. However, before Talagbusao was locked away, the evil Datu revealed that Alexandra had a twin brother, whom her father killed at birth to stop the prophecy. This meant that Miranda Trese’s 6th child would see the end of the world.

While most Marvel fans are aware of the need to wait until the end credits for the Easter Egg, not all anime fans have figured it out. Some viewers might have missed the glimpse into the future when a new monster was introduced.

Cryptozoology enthusiasts have determined that the vampiric creature was actually a Jiangshi, which brings some Chinese legends to the mix. It is not yet clear if this means Alexandra will expand her ventures internationally or if the creature is an attempt at bringing some familiar East Asian influence to anime.

Get Inspiration from the Komiks

Netflix selected from three short stories in the first three Komiks to create the Trese anime series: Murder at Balete Drive and Unreported Murders. They could draw inspiration from the short stories in the early Komiks or explore the four remaining editions of the horror-themed Manga.

Perhaps the easiest story to tell in seas is Trese Vol II: Unreported Murders. Alexandra visits a small community where residents seem suspiciously happy with every aspect of their lives. The community of Livewell Village must sacrifice an innocent person to the Lightning Elemental every year in order to maintain their lifestyle of luxury. “Team Trese” intervenes to assist the police in putting an end to these suspicious deaths and returning the Village back to its original condition of mediocrity.

Netflix could also continue the story of good vs. bad and adapt the ” private collection” storyline, Vol 4: Last Sight After Midnight, into anime. This canon depicts a manananggal being murdered and their wingless bodies being displayed publicly for all to see. The supernatural inhabitants of Manila are incensed by this and begin to fight one another in their quest for the culprit. This story would be a good fit for the finale of season 1, in which many monsters questioned their alliances and played jump rope with their loyalties.

Expect New Characters

Many fans believe that Marco, the nephew of Captain Guerrero, will take over as the head of the police force. A combination of the close age gap between Alexandra, Marco, and his handsome features suggests that there could be a romantic twist to this story. So that Alexandra can continue her work with the police solving supernatural crimes, Marco should be just as open to Alexandra’s wisdom.

Since the December 2020 release of Bloodlines, more lead male characters will be introduced. This volume is almost like a prequel. It gives fans a detailed look at Alexandra’s past and character, paying particular attention to her brothers. Marvin del Mundo and David Hontiveros, Brandie Tan, Mark Gatela and JB Tapia joined Budjette Tan, Kajo Baldisimo, to create the Bloodlines stories that anime fans will be able to find in the canon. There are rumors that Alexandra’s brothers may be joining her on screen. Viewers are also curious to see if there are more adventures in the Balete Tree which was an integral part of Alexandra’s baptism.

There are differences between the Animes and Komiks

The Netflix adaptation will not be faithful to the komik storyline , so fans should not count on it. The episode 6 treachery of Nuno, when the informant takes Sancho Santamaria’s side during the final showdown is most notable. Even though he is a clever duwende, Nuno was faithful to Trese during the komiks. This affects the anime’s narrative in a significant way.

Alexandra’s twin was born. This is another compelling development. The father of Trese on Netflix shows that the father attempted to end the prophecy about the sixth child by killing the infant girl. The original story states that the twin was stillborn and that the Sinag’s soul became a Kris through the help of Anton’s mystic friends. These important details will force anime series to follow a different narrative path in future episodes, because they greatly impact the backstory of tree.
