The Boys Season 4 is set to air in 2019 and fans of the show are anxious to see what will happen next. However, there is one thing that is for sure, the season will be released sooner than later. According to a recent report, the producers of the show have been working on the new season for quite some time and it is likely that it will be released in 2019. This means that fans can expect a lot of action and excitement as the season progresses.

Consider the state of pop culture in July 2019. We were just a few months away from Avengers: Endgame, which was the most important superhero movie of all time. Far From Home dropped an incredible Spider-Man cliffhanger. The Snyder Cut campaign still featured the DCEU.

It has grown in popularity and viewership since then. Season 3 could be its best yet. There’s still more to come.

Homelander’s grip over The Seven is loosing, but so does his grip of his sanity. The Boys, an anti-Supe vigilante group led by Billy Butcher, (Karl Urban), will put an end to Homelander’s reign of terror. There was a lot blood, guts and genitals involved. We were left with many questions after Season 3. Here’s what we know about the The Boys season 4 Release Date.

The Boys Season 3 Episode 8. The Instant White-Hot Wild

The Boys‘s third run finale continues the main themes of the season. Season 4 will feature more stories about terrible father figures and political satire. It also closes several story lines, giving ‘The Instant White-Hot Wild a good sense on this chapter. And it adds much-needed joy to the show’s dark universe.

The Boys TV series (as opposed the original comics), has always been more about mocking celebrity culture than anything else. This season, however, the show has shifted to political satire. This is a logical move, as celebrities are often used to become politicians and their celebrity as a basis for their political careers. It also has to do with social media and political campaigns. We’ve seen both in different ways throughout Season 3.

Homelander discovered that people can see him for who he is over the course of the season. The show is now satirizing celebrities who hide their true identities behind lies. It also satirizes the popularity of politicians who openly act in unacceptable ways, but are still loved by their fans. The show asked its audience repeatedly to answer a central question: Which is worse Soldier Boy or Homelander?

THE BOYS 4 RELEASE DATE, SPECULATION & Theories

Unfortunately, we don’t currently have a release date for The Boys Season 4, but we will update this article upon any announcement.

Its renewal was first reported by Deadline on June 10, 2022, a week after Season 3 hit Prime Video. In figures shared by the platform, The Boys’ global viewership has increased 17% from Season 1, and an incredible +234% from Season 2.

THE BOYS Season 4 RELEASE DATE

The exact release date of The Boys season 4 is not known, but we can guess one based upon how long season 4 took. Season 3 of The Boys, which was shot in Canada between February 2021 and August 2021, was six months long. Then, it appears that there was a ten-month period of post-production between August 2021 and June 2022.

If filming begins on Season 4 in August 2022, then we can expect the new series to drop 16 months later. This would mean that the series will arrive in December 2023. Because nothing says festive quite like Supe-guts

THE BOYS SEASON 4 PLOT SPECULATION

The Boys season 3 finale sets up two major Big Bads for next season. The second is Victoria Neuman. She’s the secret head-popping Supe, who after popping the heads of half the Congressmen and betraying Stan Edgar, Vought CEO, and adoptive father, Homelander takes over.

Annie has been threatened by her, and she knows that Hughie is aware of her powers. There’s no limit to the destruction she could cause now that she is Vice President of The United States.

It appears that The Boys have her in their sights. Butcher said so in the final episode. The Boys are reunited, despite being split for much of the season. MM, Butcher Hughie Frenchie and Kimiko all appear to have been reunited by season 3. Annie is also joining the team as their newest recruit, having resigned her Starlight position and co-captain for The Seven.

Homelander is the other Big Bad in season 4. He’s now more unhinged than ever and has Ryan, his son, on his side.

He kills a protester in front of everyone, and they all applaud him. This suggests that he will become more unpredictable and even more murderous in season 4. Ryan is also smiling, so could he be following in the footsteps of his father?

The Seven’s other member is Queen Maeve, who is still alive and hiding. But, it is not clear if she will stay there. And how will The Deep, A-Train and the Homelander deal with them? Season 3 saw The Deep lose his wife, and A-Train be disowned by his brother.

Butcher is now in a terminally ill state, and it’s not just about how long he will live to see it all. It’s clear that he doesn’t have much time left. Butcher will die once he has completed his quest to kill Homelander. Or will he cheat death?

THE BOYS SEASON 4 CAST & SPECULATION

Season 3 was a very sad season for The Boys. Stormfront (Soldier Boy) committed suicide, Blue Hawk(Nick Wechsler), and Homelander killed Supersonic (Gaston Villanueva), and Noir (Nathan Mitchell). The massacre at Herogasm is not forgotten.

Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles), who survived the season, was placed back on ice because he was deemed too dangerous to allow him run free. But it is unknown if he will stay that way. Same goes for Maeve, played by Dominicique McElligott. She may have been hiding and may have left the show, but will she be there? All the major players are likely to be back, as can be seen below.

Father Issues

Janine’s stepfather Todd starts the cheering. This also ties the final scenes to the other major theme of Daddy Issues or terrible father figures. Many of these episodes have covered the often-repeated themes of abuse and neglect. Hughie’s description about his father was one of the best scenes in the episode. This is a counter-example to MM’s conversation at the end with his daughter. Butcher takes Ryan’s side when Soldier Boy threatens Ryan. Although he is willing to sacrifice thousands to kill Homelander’s innocent victims, he doesn’t want to sacrifice his step-son. His positive fatherhood pulls him back from the brink.

These are also mirrored in Homelander being a good father which is a little more chilling. Although Homelander is obviously a horrible, evil person, there is no doubt that he has been a better father figure for Ryan than Butcher. He offered Ryan unconditional love and support rather than his horribly misguided attempt to “tough love” for his own safety earlier in the season. This has undoubtedly backfired. Ryan looks set to follow the path of his biological father in Season 4.

This episode could feel unsatisfying if it was just a set-up for The Boys Season 4. However, it wraps up several story threads and is a great season closer. The Seven are down to three – or possibly two, according to A-Train’s discomfort and The Deep’s portrait of Homelander alone in The Deep’s room.

Starlight and Maeve are both out. This means that although they didn’t kill Homelander, they achieved what they wanted: freedom from him. Kimiko and Frenchie, who had been doing their own thing most of the season are now much more confident in their abilities and themselves. Soldier Boy has been captured once again by the CIA, not the Russians – he will no doubt return, but he is gone for now.

Is the Soldier Boy Coming Back for The Boys Season 4?

The final moments of season 3 showed that Soldier Boy was alive, but had been heavily sedated. It would have taken more than a nuclear energy blast to kill Soldier Boy. Soldier Boy survived being at the epicenter all of his radioactive energy blasts throughout the season. Does that mean Soldier Boy could be alive for season 4?

Soldier Boy could return in The Boys season 4. There was a reason why The Boys kept him alive.

We believe he will not be returning to season 4, as The Boys will have a new narrative. This story will differ from that of the Soldier Boy story. The final scene of season 3 revealed that Butcher and The Boys will now target Victoria Neuman. This is the dangerous Congresswoman who can pop people’s heads with a glance. Neuman is running to be vice president. This would give her more power and allow her to do whatever she wants for the good of the supes.

There is not much room for Soldier Boy in this storyline. However, it is possible that creators will allow him skip this season so that the storyline can focus on Neuman’s quest for power. Fans wouldn’t like season 4, if Soldier Boy was included in the storyline again. This is because it was the storyline from season 3.

The creators kept Soldier Boy alive, which means there is still a chance of him returning to The Boys in future. They did not open the door to his return, but kept him alive in order to make things more interesting for the Boys’ future stories. This was especially true after season 4. Season 5 should see him return, and season 4 could be the start of a Soldier Boy Return. After all, fans love surprises.

Is the Queen Maeve Coming Back In The Boys Season 4?

It’s disappointing to see Maeve’s development over the seasons, especially when you consider the show’s progress. Starlight first saw her as someone Starlight could admire in the Seven, and then as an ally. In the second season, Maeve and Elena’s relationship formed the emotional heart of the show’s run. As the season 3 finale approaches, it doesn’t seem like a rise will occur after a fall.

You can count the number of scenes she has been in this year. Even more disturbing are her actions: She has had a casual fling, used Temp V to obtain, and was threatened with having her eggs taken by Homelander.

Although the Boys might not always pass The Bechdel Test, where two or more male characters can talk without having to mention another male character’s actions or his actions, Homelander has always been proud of its women’s autonomy. It’s disappointing to see Maeve become a character that is only there to help the plot move along in season 3.

Is Maeve going to ever get her redemption arc completed? The Boys don’t know the answer to this problem. The show has rehabilitated A-Train and attempted to reinvent The Deep for comic relief. It even humanized Butcher. Maeve is ignored. She deserves better and should be the first to go to Homelander’s grave if that day comes. Let’s hope that The Boys deliver the next season ( Season 4 ), even if it is not this one.

The Boys Season 4 Theories – Who Are The 5 New Supes that Could be in the Next Season ?

Season 3 saw Soldier Boy and Payback arrive. Soldier Boy was the one who body-bagged everyone on that team. We are fortunate that there are still many supes available, which we will be seeing in the fourth season. We will be listing 5 of our top picks for the best supes in “The Boys” Season 4.

Tek Knight

Technically, this guy doesn’t qualify as a supe. Or at least, he wasn’t a child inject with Compound V. Tek Knight, also known by Robert Vernon is an homage Marvel’s Iron Man but without the morals or heroism. He can fly with his very cool suit. This man is also super rich. We are left to wonder if he is the one running Vought, in addition to Stan Edgar. He has a lot money, so it could be possible.

Tek Knight has never used Compound V, but he still fights alongside the supes. Tek Knight is not a good person, much like other heroes of Earth. It would be amazing to see Tek Knight appear on the screen as part of “The Seven.” Maybe even a new group?

Powers – None, but very WEALTHY

Jack, Jupiter

We saw Jack from Jupiter in the animated comics and The Boys spinoff animation series “The Boys Presents : Diabolical”. This was part of “The Seven”. Jack, as his name suggests, is an extraterrestrial from Jupiter. Although he is a perfect satire of DC’s Martian Man, he does not have the exact same abilities. Despite this being his supposed backstory, the show hasn’t tackled any topic about aliens or other supernatural phenomena.

Vought’s Seven is in search of new members as Homelander has left them and The Deep. It would not surprise if Jack from Jupiter arrives on the show. His image was also hinted at in Season 2, when Lamplighter was looking at a pornographic clip. It is possible that Jack from Jupiter is in the show, but on a different career path.

Superpowers: Flight, Super Strength and Impenetrable skin

Ground Hawk

Ah, yes, the man who has a hammer in his hands. This series isn’t short of stupid powers, but it has been short on stupid names. Ground Hawk?

Ground Hawk isn’t a sly joker, but he does have hammer hands. They can kill anyone who crosses their path. Fans claim that he is a parody on the X-Men’s Wolverine. However, he uses sledgehammers instead of Adamantium claws. Ground Hawk is not only super strong but also very durable when compared to other supes.

Ground Hawk was also mentioned in an episode of the show. It is also possible that he is a patrol leader much like Nubian Prince.

Oh Father

A young group of supes, “Sidekicks 12”, has a powerful leader named Oh Father. This man is a powerful supe. He has a religious persona. Although Oh Father has a “Holy Image”, he isn’t all that. Oh Father was exposed to sexually abuse Sidekicks 12 in the comic book series.

Oh Father, on the other hand, is a top-tier supe for The Boys but not nearly as high as Homelander. He is also a man with a lot connections and a great leadership attitude. Homelander is losing control over The Seven, as the ratings go up. He needs a new image that he can get approval for. We are all ready for him to grace The Boys.

Powers – Superhuman Agility and Enhanced Strength. Extreme Durability. Flight

Silver Kincaid

Starlight wanted to pick the supervillain Silver Kincaid for their seventh member in an episode where Vought auditioned. Homelander instead pulled the trigger and brought back The Deep.

Silver Kincaid’s only known information is that she is an English Muslim. However, her powers are not revealed in the show like they were to Supersonic. Silver Kincaid, as shown in comics, is a super-powerful supe that can control gravity and pressure around her. Although her chances of appearing on the show are slim to none, her backstory in comics could make her a great choice for the next season.

Powers: Gravokinesis, Telekinesis, Ergokinesis, Superhuman Strength, Superhuman Durability
