LOVE ALL PLAY SEASON 2 BACKGROUND

Ikki Tousen, also known as battle Vixens, was originally a Japanese manga series that Yuji Shiozaki wrote and illustrated. It was published in Comic Gum* from April 2000 through August 2015. Wani Books published it in 24 volumes of tankobon and sold more than 4 million copies by March 2015. Tokyopop also licensed the manga and published it in English in North America, and the UK. The sequel manga Shin Ikki Tousen was serialized in Young Kings OURs magazine, November 2015. It has been published in four tankobon volumes, as of March 2020.

Shin Ikki Tousen, the latest TV anime adaptation of this series, is being produced and directed by Rion Kujo at Arms. Masaya Honda is responsible for series composition and scripts. Rin-Sin Miyazawa and Tsutomu Mikyazawa handle character designs. Yasuharu Takanashi composes the music. The theme song for the anime is “Proud stars” by Konomi Suzuki. The anime’s first episode will air in the early hours of March 27th. The anime itself will debut on May 17th. It will consist of three episodes.

Yoshitoshi Yamada (Voiced By: Atsumi Tanezaki).Yoshitoshi, a second-year student at Rokuhara High school and a special A rank, is currently in her second year. She was one of the Kansei warriors who attacked Nanyo Academy under the orders of Himiko. She is so brutal that her friends hate her and lives a lonely life. Although she is her enemy, she shares a mutual attraction with Cho’un. They crossed swords and parted vowing to rematch one of these days.

IndaraIndara is one the 12 Divine Generals that are active in the Kansei area. She is a control freak who uses poisoned cards to drag her opponents into a holographic space where they can be cut into small pieces. She attacks Sonken to get her in custody. However, she is severely injured by an attack from the awakened Sonken.

Ganryu (Voiced By: )Sonsaku is a brilliant swordswoman who met Sonsaku at Jofuku Academy. She is a lover of beautiful melodies, and will not tolerate opponents who use them. She once fought Takezo Shinmen, but was defeated by their vast abilities. She has the same sword that she received at that time, and she longs to be able to fight Takezo on an equal basis.

Hakufu Sonsaku (Voiced By: Masumi AsanoNanyo Academy’s leader. Himiko steals her Magatama and she loses both the Water Dragon’s spirit as well as her confidence in fighting. To save her younger sister Chuubo, who she has only faint memories of from her childhood and to save her life, she travels to a legendary place between the worlds of the spirit and this world. She’s a type of person who jumps headfirst into something, ignoring the advice of others.

Chubo Sonken Voiced by Ayaka OhashiShe is inspired by her older sister Hakufu, and she transfers to Nanyo Academy to be a candidate for the next school leader. Although she attempts to make a great debut, she fails her first day. Although her potential is greater than that of an S-rank fighter in theory, it is still unknown.
