Ffxiv: Unlocking Thok Ast Thok (Extreme): A Comprehensive Guide

Welcome to my FFXIV: Unlocking Thok ast Thok guide! In this article, I will be providing a comprehensive guide on how to unlock the Extreme difficulty mode in the game. In order to start the Extreme difficulty mode, you will first need to complete the main story campaign. Once you have completed the story, you will then need to speak with Yuna at the Tower of Life and she will give you a key. Once you have received the key, head back to your home world and enter your house. Once inside, open your bedroom door and take out your keycard. Now head into your kitchen and open the cupboard next to the fridge. Inside, you will find a keycard for your home world’s entrance. Exit your house and head back outside into your world’s capital city of D’Qar. Once in D’Qar, go into any of the businesses that are located around town. Once inside, speak with one of these businesses and receive a key card for their store’s entrance. Head back outside and enter their store through their front door. Now exit through their back door and head into one of their side stores - this should be one of the more difficult stores in town because it has high-level enemies that can easily kill you if not careful! Once inside their store, take out all of the enemies that are present before exiting through one of their windows - this should leave only two enemies remaining in store! Head back outside and speak with Yuna at her tower once again in order to start playing on Extreme difficulty!

In the later stages of the game, you will be able to gain access to your Extreme variation of the battle by completing two additional side missions (listed in the following).

Extreme trials can be more challenging thanks to new and updated techniques. By winning these tests, you will be able to offer players the chance to collect the loot you can’t find anywhere and everywhere else.

Notice: this trial is also referred to by the name of “Ravana Extreme” by players.

Unukalhai NPC

Detailed Walkthrough

Gnath Settlement in Dravania

In the process of unlocking Extreme variants of most brutal combats of Heavensward makes up the “Warring Triad” series of quests. The quest begins at Torsefers located in The Pillars, just outside of Fortemps Manor (X:11.7, Y:11.5).

Talk to Torsefers and choose to complete the quest “Gods of Eld”. This quest is available after having completed the Main Scenario level 60 Game “Heavensward”.

NOTE: Torsefers offers more than one side quest. You may not be able to locate the blue markers that is for “Gods of Eld” on your map, if the other quests are open.

After talking to Torsefers after which you’ll be taken by Torsefers to Rising Stones in Mor Dhona. You’ll be introduced to the boy who is named Unukalhai.

Unukalhai will inform you about his experience with the Warring Triad and how it will be changed by the reappearance of some primals. Once “Gods of Eld” has been finished then you must decide what steps to follow next to continue your Warring Triad storyline.

Notice: If you leave the Rising Stones at this point to continue the quest of Unukalhai later in the game, you won’t be able to see his quest markers in Mor Dhona. You’ll need to return to in the Rising Stones to see the marker on your map.

Contact Unukalhai for the second time and then select to complete the mission “Thok around the clock”. After you’ve finished with Unukalhai go towards the Dravanian Forelands, and find the Vath Storyteller (X:24.9, Y:19.7). Gnath Aetheryte in Gynehive

A Vath Storyteller will instruct you to go to Gynehive the area that is in the southeast part of the map. It is deep within Gnath territory.

Once you arrive you can tune into the Gnathic Aetheryte. Thok ast Thok (Extreme) is going to be available within the Duty Finder.

Looting the Lord of the Hive

Dead Hive Claymore

In overcoming this Extreme form of Ravana provides you with the chance to get items that normally won’t find anywhere else.

Some items will appear immediately in your inventory once you defeat the primary.

Hive Totem

A type of currency that may be exchanged with Bertana or in Idyllshire (X:5.9, Y:5.2) to purchase Hive weapons, as well as The Rose Lanner Whistle.

For a weapon, you’ll need 10 Totems an weapon and 99 to get the mount.

Ravana’s Forewing
