Sasuke Uchiha’s acquisition of the Rinnegan was a momentous event in the Naruto world. It marked the beginning of a new era, one in which Sasuke would become one of the most powerful and feared shinobi in history. The Rinnegan is a powerful artifact that has been coveted by many for centuries. It is said that it can grant users complete control over their chakra, allowing them to do whatever they please. Sasuke had been searching for years for this artifact, and when he finally found it, he knew that it was his chance to become one of the most powerful ninja in history. He quickly began using the Rinnegan to power up his attacks and techniques, becoming one of the most feared warriors in all of Naruto. This acquisition also made Sasuke very unpopular with some members of his team, as he had taken away their access to some of their most powerful techniques. However, Sasuke was determined to use the Rinnegan for good and make his team stronger than ever before.

Episode 218 of Boruto features Sasuke, Kawaki and a discussion about the implications of the Nine Tails Baryon Mode Naruto used against Isshiki the Otsuki. All three ninjas are exhausted and their opponent is defeated. This gives a Momoshiki-possessed Boruto an opportunity to stab Sasuke in the left eye with a kunai. It’s the same eye that houses the Uchiha’s most powerful visual Kekkei Genkai: the Rinnegan.

What is a Rinnegan?

The Rinnegan, a rare Kekkei Genkai is more powerful than the Sharingan and Byakugan. Hagoromo Otsutuki was the first Otsuki to possess the Rinnegan.

He is also the one who created the art and foundation of all the ninjutsu. Hagoromo, for his contributions to the Ninja World, was known as the Sage of Six Paths. His Rinnegan became a popular myth for many of the Naruto Shippuden stories.

What does the Rinnegan do for us?

The Rinnegan is a powerful chakra that can be used to create many different abilities. It depends on the user’s choice. It has been shown to be able to summon different creatures, read minds and revive the dead, as well as allow for six different techniques. Every user has discovered a different and more interesting way to use it.

Madara Uchiha used the device to create corporeal shadows within the world of Limbo; Momoshiki Oksutsuki used the device to absorb ninjutsu; Nagato used the device to control six inanimate body, which he named the Six Paths of Pain. After receiving the Kekkei Genkai, Sasuke was able to create his own trademark.

How did Sasuke get the Rinnegan to begin with?

After Sasuke matured his Sharingan, it was time for Itachi to face him in their long-awaited match. Although Sasuke won, his brother Itachi left a deep impression on him. The grief that triggered the Mangekyo Sharingan, his next evolution of the Kekkei Genkai, finally comes to an end after Obito revealed the true intent and purpose of Itachi.

The Mangekyo Sharingan can cause eye damage and exhaustion if used for too long. An Uchiha can, according to legend, transplant the eyes of a family member into their own eyes and receive the Eternal Mangekyo sharingan. The new form, as its name suggests, allows users to use the Mangekyo Sharingan over a longer period of time. The Sharingan’s power is increased and can be used on a larger scale. After experiencing the side effects of overusing the Kekkei Genkai, Sasuke decided to do the transplant to honor Itachi and fix the problem.

Madara Uchiha once stated that the Rinnegan was the ultimate evolution of the Sharingan. Even though Sasuke was able to evolve his Sharingan, the Rinnegan was something that he couldn’t obtain. His hard work and pain that culminated in his Mangekyo Sharingan were a part of what helped a little.

Naruto Shippuden was close to death when Sasuke saw the spirit of Hagoromo, the Sage of Six Paths (or Hagoromo) in a vision. Hagoromo informs Sasuke that together with Naruto, he believes Sasuke is capable of saving the world. He then gives half of his Six Paths chakras to Sasuke, and half to Naruto. This grants them both an additional level in power.

Sasuke evolved his Sharingan to its highest form. His eyes were strong enough to allow him to move on to the next stage. With the help of powerful chakra from Hagoromo it was the final ingredient to transform Sasuke’s Sharingan into an Rinnegan. Sasuke had the ability to control time and space with his Rinnegan. This allowed him to swap places with others over short distances. It also opened portals to other dimensions. The Rinnegan was one of Sasuke’s most valuable tools.

Due to Boruto attacking Sasuke last Wednesday, the Rinnegan may now be gone. Without another living Uchiha to replace the eye, Sasuke could have lost it forever. But, you never know what the future may bring. These types of anime are not all set in stone.

Can Sasuke activate his Rinnegan

Unlike Sharingan’s Rinnegan, Sasuke is permanently active and cannot revert back to its original state.

Only he can deactivate the tomoes. The rinnegan’s powers cannot be reduced, but they can be activated.

What Powers & Abilities could Sasuke use

Rinnegan is a powerful and visually-skilled chakra. Rinnegan is able to see the flow of chakra within the body and can also see invisible barriers.

Possession of the Rinnegan enables one to quickly master any Jutsu and all five basic nature transforms. It is the only Dojutsu that can fully decipher the Sage Of Six Paths’ stone tablet.

Pattern Recognition

Sasuke has a unique Rinnegan that can recognize patterns in code and compare them with similar patterns to help him decipher the text.

He can extract large amounts of information from very little text when he is used.

Amenote jikara

Amenotejikara can be used to combat Kinshiki. Sasuke uses the Amenotejikara Teleportation method

Sasuke’s left eye allows him to shift between spaces. Anything currently in the area he is targeting will be forced to move with him. This technique can be used to free himself from restraints or bind an enemy.

This technique allows Sasuke to target objects or individuals to move them to another area. To have this effect, however, the opponent must be within a specific radius.

After using the technique multiple times, Sasuke needed to wait until his Rinnegan was fully charged before he could use it again. However, Sasuke is now able to use the technique even though his Rinnegan’s power has decreased.

Space-time Ninjutsu

Space Time Ninjutsu is a technique that allows users to manipulate space-time continuum. However, it’s not known if Sasuke can actually negate these effects.

He can manipulate a point in space to instantly turn any object into a dimensional vacuum and teleport it anywhere he chooses. He can summon creatures and the ten sealed monsters.

Space-Time Ninjutsu allows him bypass any Barrier Ninjutsu because barriers only exist in the dimensions they are placed on. It cannot also stop Space-Time Ninjutsu users escaping into a dimensionless void.

His Space-Time Ninjutsu was advanced enough to allow him to travel through dimensions as an adult.

Shinra Tensei

Shinra Tensei can be used in the Deva Path of Rinnegan. Shinra Tensei is only available to those who are able to manipulate the five basic nature transforms. The user creates a “repulsive power,” which pushes everything around it away.

Sasuke is now able to use the Shinra Tensei because he has awakened his Rinnegan, and has mastered all five basic nature transformations .

Kamui

After witnessing the death of someone close, a Mangekyo Sharingan awakens.

Each Mangekyo Sharingan has its own uniqueness. Kamui can be used in conjunction with Obito Uchiha’s Mangekyou Sharingan.

Sasuke already has Amaterasu, his special ability and cannot use Kamui. He can however achieve similar powers with his Rinnegan.

Tsukuyomi

Tsukuyomi, Itachi’s Mangekyou Sharingan Dojutsu, is one of the most powerful and powerful genjutsu.

The user can create an illusion by making eye contact with the target. The user has the unique ability to change the time perception of targets, allowing him to torture them in mere seconds.

He has not revealed the Tsukuyomi since Sasuke took Itachi’s eyes to awaken Eternal Mangekyou Sharean. Instead, he has awakened unique abilities for both his eyes such as Amaterasu.

Six Path techniques

The Six Paths Technique is where the Rinnegan first gave us the unique techniques we now enjoy. The Rinnegan gives access to all of these techniques to those who use it.

These techniques can be used by Sasuke to see invisible targets and repel the Infinite Tsukuyomi effects. They also allow him to transform his Susanoo into an instrument for the tailed animals’ chakra, similar to the Demonic Statue on the Outer Path. These are the techniques:

The Deva Path

The Deva Path allows the user to control forces and attract and repel objects and people. Chibaku Tensei is another ability that the Deva Path gives. This allows you to create a large terrestrial body out of all the surrounding material.

The Asura Path

The Asura Path allows the user to enhance their body to summon mechanized armour and other ballistic weaponry.

The Human Path

The Human Path gives a Rinnegan user a way to read any target’s mind by placing his hand on their head or chest. This can also allow the target to draw their soul from the body. However, this technique kills the target at the end.

The Animal Path

The Animal Path allows the Rinnegan user to summon many animals and creatures. This path does not require blood sacrifice or hand seals to summon creatures.

The Preta Path

The Preta Path gives the user the ability of absorption chakra in any form. It is used primarily for defensive purposes.

The Preta Path can also absorb techniques ninjutsu-based that are pure chakra, or chakra-based, nullifying their effects.

The Naraka Path

The Naraka Path grants two main abilities to the user by using the King Of Hell.

The King of Hell, an enormous head that rises from the ground and is surrounded by flames, is a giant. It is also equipped with the Rinnegan and the shared field of sight. The Outer Path also has the ability to repair damage.

The Outer Path gives the Rinnegans the ability to control death and life, but it can also revive the dead using the Samsara of Heavenly Life Technology.

This path allows one to create black receivers and transmit their chakra into them. The user can then bind any person they touch. The Six Paths of Pain allow the user to remotely control and reanimate corpses by implanting black receivers in them.
