Yuri is a young man who is in his 20s. He has a small cowlick that is atop long black curls that has unbalanced bangs. He also has eyes with red spots.
While at working, Yuri wears the SSS’s standard uniform. After leaving work the employee wears a coat with a black suit and tie and black gloves.
Personality Yuri Briar Spy X Family
In Spy X Family, Briar Yuri has a sister-complex and at a young age, he was trying his best to convince Yor to shower him with affection. This could be because his mother died at an early point in his life. This caused him to become deeply attracted to Yor as mother figure.
While on duty, Yuri is shown to be very attractive as he calmly collects information from the people he interviews. He’s also shown to be extremely patriotic, as when discussing “Twilight” quickly sheds his calm manner and turns colder and more angry and loses his temper quickly. He also seems to be a fan of his family, because it is not long before he engages in violence after it becomes clear that he has an personal reason for his affair.
It is also evident that when capturing Franklin Perkin, Franklin poses the question of who’s really the villain following Yuri declared that he “saw no motive for the family of Franklin to be witness to his shame.” Yuri is then able to respond by saying that the man will never “cause the sister pain,” implying that his sister-complex is a bigger issue than his morals.
History Yuri Briar Spy X Family
In his early years, he was within Eastern Nielsberg, both of his parents died while he was a child leaving him and the older sibling, Yor to be orphaned and leaving them in poverty and not able to pay for books or school equipment. In the early years, Yuri started to develop unusual tendencies, and he began trying to do everything he could to keep Yor content and to show her love which eventually led him to become an ambassador for the foreign ministry up to one year ago, and then he was hired by the SSS.

Introduction Arc
Yuri calls Yor and asks when she’s going to marry. He says that he could get promoted to a higher position at work. This will cause him to be not have time to search for her, making him nervous. He mentions the possibility of introducing her to someone else however Yor says she has already an ex-boyfriend and states that she will call Dominic for a full and detailed report about him. After the conversation, Yuri says that he will be the one who will drive away her boyfriend if it is discovered that he’s not a good person. He then ends the phone after exuberantly saying the world is waiting to hear about his story.

Yor Forger
When both parents passed away during the conflict, Yor was the one who took care of Yuri in his early years despite being poor. Due to this Yor has developed an obsession with his sister and will do whatever it takes to protect his sister up to the point that he suspects her husband is an enemy. He has a profound respect for Yor and her bloody work for the sake of their young years inspired him to become an accomplished man. He also vowed to safeguard his only living family member.
Loid Forger
Because Yuri is extremely protective from his younger sister. He is unkindly toward Loid and believes that he’s not worthy of his sister.
Anya Forger
Yuri first encounters Anya in person, when Yor brings him to teach Anya to help her with her midterm exams. They don’t share an excellent impression of the one another due to Yuri’s hatred to Loid and his son as well as the fact that Anya is disturbed by Yor’s obsessive thoughts over his sister.
Through Yuri’s affections of Yor, Anya is able to convince him to teach her with a serious approach and eventually admits to his reasons for studying when his younger years.

Just as his elder brother Yor, Yuri is a light. He can be found drinking massive amounts of alcohol in an extremely short time drinking wine in the glass in a hurry and drinking it straight from the bottle. The alcohol makes him irritable and in a state of confusion as demonstrated when he makes Yor or Loid to kiss him in front of them before they realized that he regretted the choice.
