There are a lot of great free Elven armor mods for Skyrim, and you don’t have to spend a penny to get the look you want. Here are the best ones:
- The Elven Armor of Skyrim by InsanitySorrow: This mod adds a variety of new Elven armors to the game, including light and heavy versions of each type. You can also customize the colors and patterns on each piece of armor.
- The Ethereal Elven Armor by InsanitySorrow: This mod adds new, ethereal Elven armors to the game that look like they’ve been taken right out of a fantasy novel. You can choose from several different styles and colors, and even add customizations like wings or horns.
- The Imperial Armors by DiverseSkies: This mod adds several new Imperial-style armors to the game, including light and heavy versions of each type. You can also choose from several different colors and patterns, as well as add your own designs using Photoshop or other graphics software.
- The Blades Armor by DiverseSkies: This mod adds several new Blades-style armors to the game, including light and heavy versions of each type. You can also choose from several different colors and patterns, as well as add your own designs using Photoshop or other graphics software. ..
However, the basic Elven armor available in Skyrim is nothing less than amazing. The color isn’t right It’s big, and overall there’s no reason for it to be worn.
As an Elf fan I’d like to correct Bethesda’s mistakes with assistance from the mod community.
This is our selection of the top mods to improve the standard Elven armor of Skyrim.
Both Silver and Red Elven Armor
The first thing we’ve got is a an extremely simple, but powerful recoloring of Skyrim’s original Elven equipment and weaponry, which has been updated to a beautiful color palette that includes red and silver.
The shining, unapologetic glare that is Silver’s Elven armor sets contrasts sharply with Skyrim’s soft Winter tones, and the red details lend Imperial impressions.
It’s distinct from typical Skyrim armor , it’s almost antique.
The sheen and colors of the armor transport me back to the days of playing the TES IV: Oblivion.

9. Elven Archer Armor
If you’re seeking something completely fresh then this Elven Archer Armor mod by SydneyB is essential.
It’s the ideal light-weight outfit to be an Elven sharpshooter, whether it’s an Bosmer zipping across the trees or an Dunmer stalking his target in the shadows.
It’s also very versatiledue to the variety of colors provided by the designer.
Gold and green make it look royal and elegant While grey and purple conjure images of Elven magicians who can do powerful magic.
8. Real Moonstone Elven Armor
I’ve always thought that the plain Elven armor colors looked slightly out of style in Skyrim.
The greenish-gold shade is unappealing to the eye in ways that are difficult to describe. It is too bright and fun against the more earthy tones of the iron steel, ebony, or dragonbone sets.
Additionally they’re made of Moonstone A material that’s completely different!
This mod from Ice885 tackles both problems by bringing the armor closer to the shade of Moonstone and a great deal more so.
It’s almost like it were made of marble. It’s also incredible.
7. Gryphon Elven Armor
We typically imagine Elves as gentle creatures with refined tastes that combat with speed and precision.
This is the reason that most Elven armor mods are stylish, lightweight clothing that encourages the movement.
Modder Lagrie had a different vision.
He imagined a massive Elven knight, securing him by head-to-toe wearing a heavy-plated shield and he turned his vision into real with this swaggering mod.
The gray and steely hues paired by the bright golden hues bring to mind images of the brave Paladin who slays an Eldritch monster on the battlefield of World of Warcraft.
6. Bosmer Wood Elf Armor
I’m a huge fan of Wood Elves.
Vanilla Skyrim is incredibly lacking in Wood Elf content, and no armors are logical when playing as a Bosmer.
To stop discrimination and to empower Wood Elves all across Skyrim Modder Jameza has created this elegant “leaf” armor for Bosmer and all kinds of forest protection.
The leafy cowl is charming enough and the shining silver and green scales that form random patterns is a remarkable design.
It’s similar to light reflecting off the ripples of the water – exactly the type of Bosmer style I’m trying to find.
5. Really Very Light Elven Armor (Female)
It’s always irked me that the basic Elven armor is classified by the manufacturer in the category of Light Armor.
It’s too large and bulky for a masculine person to wear!
I’m aware that it’s designed to show off Elven craftmanship in addition to Moonstone as a material that is light. But, the absence of clear directions led me to skip this armor completely in most gameplays.
This custom armor mod created by Letstryagain alters the appearance of the basic armor by taking off some of the components, while reducing other parts in size to ensure that it fits your human body, and actually appears light.
Be sure to look over both the male variant as well as CBBE version. Version CBBE too.
There’s also an good steel re-color worth taking a look.
4. Dark Nemesis & Eternal Shine Armor
We’re close to getting to being at the very top of our lists, and here’s an amazing set of customized armor sets that are intricate in details, as well as some amazing glowing effects.
Dark Nemesis Dark Nemesis is a thoroughly decorated ebony armor that is gorgeous however we’re not focusing on it here since it does not have anything to relate to Elves.
However there is also an eternal Shine Armor. This is a hot steely rendition that is a re-creation of the Elven armor, with plenty of modifications most notable of which are the blue-colored highlights that glow on the knees, arms and helmet.
3. Project 7 – Elven Armor Remastered
If you loved the concept of moonstone-colored armor, but you felt that our original mod was a bit subtle, this shiny revamped Elven Armor mod could be your ideal choice.
It’s a complete overhaul from the original set created by KiraxSkyrim.
Apart from the changes in color and the generous shine, the design has a higher polygon count and the textures have greater resolution.
In simple terms it’s the way Elven armor ought to have always looked..
It’s ethereal, almost mysterious – it’s the kind of armor that makes bards want to write songs , and also shows off Elven craftmanship.
Additionally, it reworks the weapons and shield in addition.
2. Elven Archangel Knight Armor
If you’ve ever thought of an armored knight You probably imagined something similar to this.
Created by KiraxSkyrim The Elven Knight Armor appears as if it came straight from World of Warcraft.
The bright blueish steel, the golden accents along with that “subtle” set of angelic wings are so stunning they’re nearly out of the ordinary… nearly.
This is precisely what you should wear when you are clearing the vampire’s den.
1. Elven Chainmail
The top spot on our list goes to an armor set that will blow everything vanilla Skyrim offers out of the park – but also look completely friendly to lore.
It’s a great set. Elven Chainmail set is everything I would expect from a product designed by and for Elfen.
It’s beautiful, exquisitely precise, and flows in a way that allows for freedom of movement and looks stunning.
The link to the main mod above offers a wide range of other colors available to make and you should look into an HD version of the Snow Elf version as well as the standard CBBE bodyslide version, too.
