Mitsuki Boruto is a young boy who has been living in the city with his family. He is a very active and curious child, always exploring and trying new things. Mitsuki is a participant in his Chunin Examinations along with his fellow teammates but this is only after Sarada offers Boruto an earful and persuades Sasuke to help him train and then he is able to participate together with Mitsuki along with Sarada. The initial round of Chunin Exams is an actual or false exam involving questions about the fifth volume in the series. If it turns out the answers to both questions are wrong the teams are then dropped into a pit, with an ink pond at its bottom.
Mitsuki raises his legs to stop team members from getting sucked into the ink and Sarada decides that the game was a ruse and anyone who falls into the ink is disqualified. After successfully avoiding falling into the ink Mitsuki along with his group advance into the next round, where teams battle for flags. Mistuki and Sarada set out to steal the other team’s flags and Boruto is there to defend their own. After Boruto was attacked by a different Genin team Mitsuki chooses to come back to help him.
But, when Mitsuki arrives, Boruto had already defeated the other Genin (with the help the help of Kote). They eventually succeed in getting other flags and safeguarding their own. As they reunite, Sarada scolds Boruto for not being happy that they’ve passed, then remarking that the blue of his eyes is brighter than Naruto’s eyes, to which Mitsuki is shocked to agree after looking Boruto directly in the eye which gives the boy a frightening fright.
