The fifth episode of the My Isekai Life anime aired on October 12th and it was a great episode. In this episode, we see the growth of our sage, Kaede. We also get to see her fight against a powerful demon and her new powers. Overall, this was an exciting episode that showed off Kaede’s new abilities and growth.
Yuji Sano, a corporate drone, is always working at work and home. Yuji receives a message from his home computer informing him that he was called to another realm. He then restarts the PC to find that he had unintentionally accepted this summons. Yuji is in a fantasy world that is far removed from technology and paperwork. His only thoughts are to wake from the dream and go back to the work he did. Yuji quickly discovers that the other planet has other plans after learning that his Monster Tamer character allows him to get along well with slimes.
Because they are so many, the slimes help him learn so much magic that he quickly gains a second class. Yuji is now the greatest sage in the world. But how does he use his power? But what about all the paper work?

The second episode, “Trying Out a Party”, may be summarized as Yuji’s abilities and opponents being revealed to the viewer. We might learn more in future episodes. We will learn a lot more about Yuji’s psychology from this episode than we did from the bizarre sequence in the middle of the show, where Rodis, Lisa and Tina were there. All of them were ready to sleep when Yuji awoke, if that’s what it was in this isekai universe.
In his inner monologue, he talks like an office worker and is evident throughout the episode. It is clear that he was a salaryman prior to being transported, or however you wish to call it, into the isekai universe. We can see that his inner mentality is now similar to office workers.
Yuji learns about Delight Canyon in the third episode. Also known as the Valley of the Wind, Yuji’s scum are searching for the Earth Dragon. Yuji suddenly remembers something and flashbacks to his adventurer registration exam are presented to us. He commands his slime, who is a canine-like beast to cast a lightrock spell in order to defeat it. Everyone begins to feel strange and the sky shifts. Yuji’s slime shows that this isn’t a monster, but they still find it unsettling. This is how the blue moon prophecy works. The blue moon is a sign of impending disaster, according to the prophecy.
