Dead End Paranormal Park Season 2 is set to release on October 15th, 2019. The show has a stellar voice cast, solid humour, LGBTQ+ representation, and a consistently entertaining storyline. It is undoubtedly one of the best PG-animated series available on streaming giant Netflix.
Although a second season of the animated adventure has yet to be publicly ordered, the ball is now in your court as fan demand will determine the fate of Dead End: Paranormal park season 2.

Dead End: Paranormal Park was not renewed by Netflix or the showrunners for season 2. However, it is possible that Barney and Norma will return to Phoenix Park.
It was announced that Netflix would be laying off approximately 150 employees in the United States. However, 70 of those employees were to be fired from their Animation department.
Netflix released a statement via The Hollywood Reporter stating that “our slowing revenue growth means that we are also having difficulty with our cost growth as an organization.” Today, around 150 people, mostly U.S.-based, are being let go by Netflix.
In a follow-up memo the streaming giant encouraged its employees to “spend our members’ money wisely”. This means that Netflix will likely have less funding and staff for animation.
In reality, the above-mentioned release of 70 Netflix Animation employees also the dropping of three other projects: Wings of Fire and Antiracist Baby.
Dead End: Paranormal park is therefore more dependent on streaming than ever. That means that the greater the number of households that stream it, the greater the chance that it will reach the threshold’ Netflix considers good enough for another season.

There are many early signs that Dead End Paranormal Park is capable of surpassing the streaming threshold. The series currently has a 7.4/10 rating on IMDB.
Hamish Steele, the creator of Digital Spy, has hinted at the possibility for a second season. Steele spoke to Digital Spy and said that “We had big plans for this show, and stuff isn’t included in season one, but we hope to get eventually …”.”
This, combined with the importance LGBTQ+ representation in Netflix’s content, and the open ending of season 1, means that there is a good chance that Dead End: Paranormal Park 2 will be ordered.
Episode 10 ended with an Angel of the Upper Levels looking on the group of friends at the park. “The threat was eliminated. Demon Invasion cancelled. These humans may be the ones we have been searching for. Perhaps it’s high time that those up here paid them a visit.
This is an obvious indication that the showrunners are planning a second season, but it is important that fans don’t get ahead of themselves.
