The second season of the popular show “Burning Kabbadi” is set to air on October 15th. However, there is still no release date for the show. Some fans are beginning to wonder when the show will air and what new content will be released. According to a source close to the production, there are still some things that need to be finalized before the show airs. The source also said that they do not want any spoilers for the show to leak out before it airs. So far, there has been no release date for “Burning Kabbadi.” However, fans can expect new content from the production team soon.

WHAT IS THE PLOTLINE FOR THE ANIME?

After losing interest in middle-school soccer, Tatsuya Yoigoshi (the nationally recognized star of the middle school soccer team) decides to quit the sport. He continues to hate sports into high school. When he is invited to play at Noukin High’s Kabaddi Club by Azemichi Soma, things start to change. Tatsuya initially mocks Kabaddi and doesn’t pay much attention to the sport. Tatsuya changes his mind after he goes to one of the sessions. He is stunned to discover that Kabaddi requires extreme flexibility and athleticism.

He is intrigued by the fast-paced, martial arts-like sport, despite its absurd rules. After seeing similarities between Kabaddi, and fighting, Tatsuya realises that his initial impressions of the sport are wrong. Soon, his sarcasm turns into a passion for the sport and he eventually falls in love.

WILL THERE BE A THIRD SEASON OF BURNING KABADDI?

The first anime season was completed on June 19, 2021. It may be too early to start a new season, considering that animes have a long break between seasons. TMS Entertainment, or any other anime-related company, has not yet renewed the anime for a 2nd season. It is possible to predict if there will be a new episode under certain main factors. These main factors are met and the animes get approval for the new season with a 95% probability. The availability of manga source material is the most important.

Hajime Musashino is the author and illustrator of the manga. Since July 2015, the manga series published by Shogakukan has been ongoing. The first season was adapted from 4 volumes. The source material appears to be available for a second or more season.

While there is sufficient written material to create a season, it is not the only factor. Because animes are profit-oriented productions, popularity is even more important. Revenues directly correlate with popularity. The disc sales of anime were very poor and not on target. However, the anime’s Twitter account shows that not many people are following it, even in Japan. 31k people are currently following the official Twitter account of the anime, which is quite low for an anime that hopes to have a second season. We don’t see any strong searches in Google worldwide. A new season is quite possible considering the popularity of the show. We are not looking forward to the new season Burning Kabaddi.

If the manga series is licensed by an English publisher, then you can read the sequels from the manga. We must admit that anime has a lot of surprises. Even though this is unlikely, creators may surprise us all with a new season confirmation. Keep checking back for more updates.

What is the PLOTLINE FOR SEASON 2?

Noukin High School won the friendly match against Saitama Kyouyou High to end the first season. Everyone was shocked when Yoigoshi spun in match to avoid dodge. Yoigoshi awarded the team 6 overall points, and 4 and 2 individually at the end. The match was won by Noukin High thanks to Yoigoshi’s 40:44 score. Episode 12 ended with Hiramoto telling Yoigoshi they would meet again if both entered the tournament.

We will continue to follow Noukin High’s matches during season 2. Hiramoto revealed that we would be meeting a new player in the finale. The player might actually be from another country. We will be able to find out where the player is from, what his sports success is, and how he contributes as a member of his team. Yoigoshi will finally meet a player who is as successful as he. We will also check on the three new members of the team in the new season.

Shakunetsu Kabaddi Manga Compared To The Anime

In July 2015, Hajime Musashino began serializing the manga series. He has published nineteen volumes since then. The manga series is still in production, so there will be more volumes. The original source material was faithfully preserved in the first twelve episodes of the anime. The anime’s pace was excellent, as it accurately described both the characteristics of the sport and the story of the protagonist.

The final chapter of Volume 4 was completed, and the series’ twelfth episode ended. TMS Entertainmet has 15 volumes left for Burning Kabaddi Season 2. They have enough chapters to create four more seasons for Shakunetsu Kabadi.

Burning Kabaddi Season 2: Renewal Status

Manga readers had high expectations for anime and the manga creators fulfilled them. The show’s story was fascinating, its character development was excellent, and it also has the thrill of a sports program. It received positive reviews from critics and viewers alike. It has a MyAnimeList score of 7.10 and more than 77K members on its group. The production studio also has enough material to make 3-4 additional installments. The demand for the second season is very high.

TMS Entertainment is expected to give the green light for Burning Kabaddi Season 2 sooner than later. As the original anime ran only a few short months ago, it will take some time.

Burning Kabaddi Season 2 Release Date

TMS Entertainment is currently working on Lupin The Third Part 6 & Dr. Stone Season 3. Fans will have to wait at least one-and-a-half years for the sequel, even if it is renewed immediately. They can therefore expect Burning Kabaddi Season 2 on the screens by 2023.
