There is no clear answer to who would come out on top in a battle between Beerus and Goku. While both fighters have impressive skills, it is likely that Beerus would be the more experienced and powerful fighter. However, Goku has the ability to fight with his heart and soul, which could give him an advantage in the long run.

Beerus was introduced to Goku’s arsenal of a powers, and this meant that he and his friends had to face stronger opponents. Fans are now asking themselves: Who would win a fight between Beerus or Goku?
As of right now, there is no official confirmation that Goku can defeat Beerus. Many fans speculate that Beerus could beat Goku anytime, as evidenced by the chapters. What factors led to this conclusion? Will Goku be able to defeat the God of Destruction in future chapters?These questions will be answered, and I’ll show you how Goku can beat Beerus one day. You can then make a better comparison of power as I will show you the full potential of these two most powerful characters in Dragon Ball Universe, or should that be Universe 7.
The Powers of Beerus
Beerus is a God of destruction and uses his power to destroy the inhabitants of planets. But, he’s strong enough to destroy whole Solar Systems. This should be enough to explain Beerus’s power in comparison to other dragon ball fighters. Super Saiyan 3 Goku was completely defeated by Beerus. He suppressed his power and then beat him with a neck chop, rendering the Saiyan unconscious.
Beerus was the best beer at the time, so even fusing Vegeta with Vegeta is not an option. Super Saiyan 2 Vegeta was even knocked out by a simple forehead poke. Beerus won against Goku’s Super Saiyan God Power, although the match seemed even. Beerus also admitted to Goku that there are people in all universes stronger than him, even his teacher Whis.
Whis later discovered that Beerus had used less than 70% of his full power. This feat was something he hadn’t had to accomplish in a while. He is so powerful that he could tap his finger on a planet and it was all gone. A tiny amount of energy from his finger also caused him to destroy a planet.The Supreme Kais states that Beerus is powerful enough to destroy the whole universe if provoked enough.
Later, it is implied that Beerus could destroy the entire universe at full power. King Kai also states that Beerus is “far beyond strong”. Beerus also has incredible speed. He can travel from his temple to another planet in another galaxy or star system in under two minutes. This allows him to cross vast distances without Whis’ assistance.
The God of Destruction is able to simply sneeze on planets and explode them. He can beat Gotenks even when suppressing his power with just two fingers and pummels aside Majin Boo and Ultimate Gohan. His ki is so powerful that he was able to repel a joint attack by Piccolo, Tien Shinhan and Android 18 with only a fraction of his effort. He is stronger than any other Gods of Destruction. He almost avoided all their attacks, even though he was surrounded by other gods from other universes.
He was able to avoid it but was still hurt in the fight.Beerus held the decisive edge against Super Saiyan God, SS Evolved Vegeta. Although he had gained more power through Spirit Control, Beerus was still able to defeat him quickly. Beerus, despite being feared and powerful in his years as a deity in his lifetimes, openly stated that Whis, his martial art teacher, is more powerful than him.Zeno, the supreme god and ruler of all the universes, is also more powerful than Beerus. Beerus has been around so long, he has spent years training his battle sense and learning how to react to attacks and counter them.
He learned many skills through years of training, even before he was awarded the title God of Destruction. He is proficient in all Z-fighter abilities, including flight, Ki blast and Ultra Instinct (though it’s not perfect). He was also taught by Whis and, after years of training with Whis, became the god of destruction in Universe 7.
Beerus, the God of Destruction is able to destroy all things, even ghosts. This ability is known as Hakai. Beerus’s ability to cause his target to rot is called Hakai. He can do this by extending one hand with his four main fingers straight up, and his thumb crossed horizontally. Beerus shows his destructive power in the movie Battle of Gods by turning an egg into powder with a simple touch. This technique is used to destroy Dr. Mashirito and Zamasu.
Goku and His Powers
Physical
Goku is an alien warrior race called Saiyans and possesses a wide range of extraordinary physical attributes. Throughout the Dragon Ball Saga, he continues to improve his physical abilities to God-like levels. He is able to break the majority of the earth’s weapons due to his superhuman strength. He is so strong, he can even hurt 100% final form Frieza (who can survive an explosion on a planet while weak).
He is strong and can also fly at superhuman speeds. Beerus is shown to be able to react to him and move at the minimum. He can fly at supersonic speeds and moves significantly faster than light speeds. He is superhumanly strong and has incredible durability. He can even withstand the universal force energy.
He is strong, but he has limitations because he can be hurt by other powerful beings. If he is not careful, traditional weapons such as guns can cause him injury. He has superhuman senses. He is able to think and react at superhuman speeds. He can easily dodge or catch projectiles from weapons and even keep up with his enemies’ incredible combat speeds.
Saiyan also has increased senses of taste, smell, and sight. This further enhances his combat instincts and senses. Goku’s physiology and willpower allow him to exert himself even when fatigued by using techniques or transformations which cost him a lot of energy or are dangerous for his wounds. This was evident when he defeated Piccolo as a young man, while his limbs were broken and he was mortally wounded.
His endurance was displayed most clearly during the Tournament of Power’s final moments. He persevered despite being severely injured and lacking stamina. He is also blessed with powerful lungs, as he can take in the atmosphere while fighting Beerus.
Goku’s other abilities
Goku also has Godly K Mastery, which allows him to transform himself into the Gods. This greatly increases his power. Goku can access god-level transformations like the Super Saiyan God or the Super Saiyan Blue by using the Godly Ki. He has instant transmission, energy nullification, flight, spirit control, energy nullification and Ki sense.Goku has been a combat expert for many years through his combat training. Goku can learn the moves of his opponents and adapt to fights using a smaller version of Beerus’ Hakai. Whis, the God of destruction’s teacher, would train Goku. Whis would train him in Autonomous Ultra Instinct. During the Tournament of Power, he would unlock a special condition and make it perfect.
Beerus Vs Goku – Verdict
Based on the story, Goku is likely to win because he already has Ultra Instinct mastered. Beerus does not have it. Beerus is also shown to be unable to follow instant transmission. This could allow Goku to win the fight by striking at the god from his blind spot. Goku is well-versed in Dragon Ball’s theme of “improvement yourself”, which means that he would continue to work hard to defend Universe 7 against Gods of Destruction and Angels in the future Arcs.
Jiren was also defeated by Goku, but Beerus is still more powerful than Jiren. Beerus does not have a limit on the number of people he can fight, unlike Goku. There are rules for gods of destruction characters. Although not strictly forbidden, they can’t fight another god or destruction from another universe. That would spell doom for their universe. This would limit his ability to grow in fighting, unlike Goku, who can fight weaker Gods to destroy to train himself for a fight against Beerus.
Beerus may not be hiding all of his power but no one can tell if Beerus has lost any strength. Beerus is set up to be an endgame, when it comes down to how much Goku can fight. We cannot yet say if Goku will win against Beerus, unless we see a rematch in the future pages of Dragon Ball. However, Goku might be able to defeat Beerus completely at 100% power due to his endless potential.
