When will Ayumu make his move: First impressions
Based on a slice of life manga by Soichiro Nagamo – also the creator Teasing Master Takagi – When will Ayumu Make His Move, Ayumu Tanaka is a first-year high schooler who joins his school’s Shogi club.
Urushi Yaotome is his senpai, the club’s only member. She is happy to have a shogi partner, and will try to teach him everything she knows.
Urushi knows about Ayumu’s crush and attempts to get him to confess. Ayumu, on the other hand, has decided not to confess until they can defeat her in shogi.
Although this hasn’t been the case, they act almost as though they’re in a relationship.
When will Ayumu Make His Movement hasn’t yet shown the same hilarious spark as Kaguya–sama Love is War, but it’s early days of the romance anime – and that seems to be a lot of fun!

The Friday 15th July 2022 is the release date for When will Ayumu Make his MoveEpisode 2. It will be available for download in the US, Canada, and Europe starting July 14.
