Although no official announcement has been made for the second season, considering how popular the series is after it aired on anime, I believe Adachi/Shimamurahas a great chance of getting another season.

There are plenty of source material and the series has made a lot of money through merch sales. It is likely that all of the studio’s current busy schedules are causing the delay in a sequel.
